Not a pretty shoe

It's hard totell from the picture but these are a very odd colour, almost orangey. They look like old lady orthotics. Not a good shoe performance wise, just plain weird.

I was very disappointed when I received this dance shoe. I went up two sizes and the shoe was still too small. I purchased a 10 to ensure I would have enough room and normally I wear an 8. Unfortunately, I could not get my foot inside the shoe to determine how comfortable it was. That's why I had to be honest to give it a poor rating. I will be returning the merchandise and will not be making another purchase. Hopefully, I do not have to go through a lot of red tape for my refund to be credited to my account and don't have to wait 2 weeks or more. Thank you for your business.

I loved these jazz shoes. They are comfortable, true to size, and great to dance in. The fabric and fit are great. They were amazing, which is probably why they were stolen from me in class. I recommend over and over. I also intend to buy another pair.

As a High School Dance teacher I needed to find affordable and durable shoes for my hundreds of students. These shoes have been great! They worked for my beginning and advanced students. Great buy if you want affordable!

Great for contra dancing, sizing beware

I have been using these for contra dancing and found them to be an excellent choice. They stay on my feet and the suede soles perform well on wood floors. Occasionally there will be a floor that is a little too slippery but generally they provide just the right grip. After about 5 months of use they are still serviceable, although they are beginning to show signs of wear.
Beware of the sizing, though. Like another reviewer, I have mens 10.5 shoes and a size 15 fits me well-- not the 14 suggested in the chart.

These shoes were good; I have only one complaint. They didn't fit well. One size was too big, but the next was too small. I had to deal with baggy shoes. I guess my feet are an abnormal size. As long as they fit, they are pretty good shoes.

These are OK. I bought them because I lost my old shoes and I needed new ones. They are kinda too wide. I have narrow feet so it's hard. I don't think I will buy them again but I'm still gonna use them till I can't anymore!

I use these for musical theatre (acting and some dance) and have found them to be both comfortable and durable. Although they slip slightly on highly waxed and polished wood floors--I don't use the additional rubber pads--traction onstage is not a problem at all, and the soles have survived hard wear very well. I'll definitely buy another pair when these wear out!

Cut really small

I wear 8.5 to 9 with street shoes so I ordered size 10 of these shoes. They were still too small, so I exchanged them for the size of 11. Hopefully they will fit now--letīs see . . . But in general, they are really comfy ;)

These shoes were kinda cheaply made. The canvas shows every speck of dust/dirt, and the ties keep coming undone all the time. The insert is like thick leotard material. The lining on the sole of the shoe bunched up, then fell off after 2 weeks. They are great if you don't really need jazz shoes you will use lots, just for a temporary thing or to try jazz out with.

This is the first time I have ordered from DDS and I was totally impressed. They shipped them out right away and I received my shoes in a matter of days! Thanks for a superior job! I love the shoes and the price for them is unbeatable! FYI . . . The shoes run small. I usually wear a size 6, bought the 7, and they were a little too tight.

These shoes are awesome. My street shoe size is 6.5. I went up in size like suggested, but the 7 and 8 were too big. 6 is the best size for me. I use them for salsa class, contra dancing and swing.

I love these shoes. I use them for salsa; they are comfortable, appropriately smooth and more stylish than most jazz shoes (I like the way the canvas looks). The fact that they are so cheap makes it even better. I find that they run slightly small (I would be a half size up if I could) but because of the stretchy midsole, they feel perfectly comfortable after the first few wearings.

I love these shoes. The suede sole with toe pad is excellent--very easy for spins. I like the canvas--and the price! The shoes run a little small; I will buy a half size bigger next time.
