Since when brand new these pillows are bulky.
Advise against buying new pointe shoes with them when new!
After several washings, the inside gets clumpy and flat. The extra long sides are definitely a plus.

GREAT WHILE THEY LAST!
These toe pads are like heaven for your toes when dancing on pointe! I really love how comfortable they are. The only thing that I wish these toe pads did have is thicker wool on the inside, so that they are more durable. The wool wears down within two months, and I would prefer that it would last longer, but other than that, very wonderful for dancers with long toes, and big feet!
