In following the advice of another reviewer, I ordered a full size smaller than my street shoe. While this shoe does run large, a full size smaller might be fine for a slender foot! I ordered a 6, and the length was right but they were too narrow and had to be returned. My recommendation is to go only a half size down from your street shoe if your feet are wide in the instep. They are very flattering on and are an almost exact copy of a shoe I owned previously and paid a lot more for! I have reordered this in a 6.5 and I'm sure I will be delighted with them.
I ordered 1/2 size smaller in this shoe and they felt wide....(all my shoes tend to stretch making them too wide). Thought they were cheap for the price. Also was almost $10 shipping and then I had to pay to return
Love this shoe!
First off, make sure you order one FULL size smaller than your street shoe. I wear an 8 normally, but a 7 in these shoes fits perfectly.
I have previously owned this style shoe, but the mesh had ripped on one of the sides of my old pair, so I ordered another pair through this website. I purchased them only two nights ago and they just arrived in the mail!
Overall, these shoes are extremely comfortable once they are broken in. The ball of my foot is slightly wider than normal and my ankle is slightly more thin, so the support of the mesh and the wrap-around strap make sure that my feet stay secure without being uncomfortable. I wear these when I'm assisting classes and have worn them for 6 hours straight with no issues whatsoever. I absolutely love the fact that I can wear a dance shoe so consistently that I didn't even give it a second thought when I realized my old pair needed to be replaced.
My only issue with these is that once the mesh gets torn, there is not really a way to fix it. The mesh is built into the shoe and straps, so it can't be replaced. You either live with the torn mesh and your shoes looking slightly beat up or you buy a new pair. The mesh is pretty durable overall, but it will tear over time. As long as you're aware of it and don't get a stiletto heel slamming on your foot by another careless follower (how mine got torn), you should be good to go! I already can't wait to break in the new pair!
