High-neck lace leotard inspired by the art and gaiety of "La Belle Epoch" - the days of the Moulin Rouge, Monet's Water Lilies, and, incidentally, the first pointe shoe. Soft, pretty stretch lace. Eight buttons down the back (purely decorative, extremely fetching). Back zipper. Shelf bra.
This leotard was very pretty... BUT... I got holes in the lace within two weeks... Then 3 months part of the zipper broke off... 6 months later I had to cut myself out of the leo and it's ruined forever. This leo was cute, but not cute enough to be worth all the trouble and money.
I got this leotard over the summer, and got so many compliments on it when I wore it to class. It's a stunning leotard, very elegant and it shows off your lines. It's also very comfortable.
The problem? It doesn't last well. I'd had it for a couple of months when the zipper broke in the middle of class. No matter if I tried to zip it up or zip it down, the zipper wouldn't stay.
It's unfortunate, as the rest of the leotard is still in great condition. But alas, the cheap zipper died so quickly, and now the leotard is unusable.
My favorite leotard so far, it is very comfortable, yet doesn't look too plain! I love the 8 buttons on the back, very pretty, and also the lace turtleneck, makes you look clean and eye catching(in a good way!)! I got MANY compliments, loved my purchase! I've had this leo for about 4 months now, and the lace still looks brand new.. no nags and frays! Totally recommend it!
This leotard is absolutely beautiful. The lace is very complimenting and the leg line is high. I have a long torso so this is perfect for me, makes my legs look great. The fabric is a bit thin, but I don't mind. Great leotard for a good price. I got a small and I'm 5ft and 94 lbs, it fits like a glove. I'd recommend it to anyone.
I wear this leo as much as possible! It looks awesome on and I feel confident in it! You can see you lines really well and its a very nice cut on the hips not super low but not so high you see your hip bones. If u are thinking about getting this one i totally think you should!
All I have to say is that Gaynor Minden hit the nail on the head with this leotard! It looks absolutely flawless on! it really shows your lines! The lace is just breath taking, and the zipper in the back makes it easy to take off and on. Very flattering, and I would honestly recommend this to any ballerina or dancer!
I got this for my friend for her birthday, and it's so beautiful on her!
The only negative thing she had to say about it was that the neck is a bit snug. It's so beautiful that made up for it! The lace is a bit lower on her, so it looks a lot less awkward. The back is lower than the front, so even though it's a slight turtle neck it shows some skin. The lace is a really nice pattern too. I'm definitely getting one for myself!

My sister recently got the cap sleeved lace leotard also made by gaynor minden and washed it and it completely ruined it. All the lace got snagged and there was elastic and stuff showing. How do I prevent this from happening?
This item should be hand washed and hung to dry. - DDS Customer Service (05/27/2014)

Does this have a shelf or a built in bra in it for support????
This item does have a shelf bra lining. - DDS Customer Service (04/01/2013)
Yes, it has a shelf bra. Even though the bra itself doesn't offer much support, the leotard is relatively tight-fitting, and I found it to be supportive enough even during jumps. (And I'm a relatively large-chested dancer.) - Graydon (12/02/2013)
