I’m a size 8 in street shoes and I could barely put these over my toes, they also started falling apart right away on the sides where you’d hold them to put them on.
I prefer my toepads to be thin enough that I can still feel the floor and the inside of my shoe. Many, MANY people feel they need a thick toepad to stop all of their pain and this just isn't true. As long as you have a proper fitting shoe you should be fine. Anyways perfect balance between thick and thin, DO NOT WASH, the foam may start to shred or peel a little here and there usually after a few months they need to be thrown away. I keep two pairs that a switch on and off so they have enough time to air out.
I've been searching for a replacement for the fantastic Capezio Tipseez toe pads that haven't been produced for awhile and thought I might finally have of found them. Unfortunately I was mistaken to think these Pillows were it. On first use they seemed like they might actually have been the replacement I was looking for but unfortunately after the second use they began to disintegrate. The foam is not of a good quality, crumbling easily with use. It's unfortunate that someone has not come up with a product that comes up to or rivals the Capezio Tipseez. I'm still searching!
I love em! I recently started pointe and these pads really helped! I had no bunions or blisters! i dont know what people are talking about the pads being too foamy. Maybe since Im just starting I need more padding than others! I love these!
DO NOT GET THESE! These are the worst toepads that I have ever had! I ordered them right before a show and they seemed to be soft, but when I used them, I got blisters all over! I could have done way better in the show if I did not use those toepads. I would never recommend these.
I bought this recently and opened it today. Let me tell you, it was the WORST thing I have ever encountered. The foam felt nice on the inside but it was way too hard and stiff.
