Capezio's popular Freeform Jazz shoe, now made with an EVA heel! The "Freeform" by Capezio molds to the foot and is designed to be "barely there." Other features include an EVA forefoot and heel, a power mesh arch, adjustable attached elastic, and unique styling that allows this shoe to be worn for ballet, jazz, modern and contemporary. The 5/8" one-sided plush elastic is attached and can be placed on the heel or over the instep.
The shoe runs about a size smaller. My street size is 7.5 us so I ordered an 8.5 us and it fit perfectly. The shoe looks fantastic and is extremely durable. The heel slips so I used the strap to go over my foot and it kept the heel in place. I used them for a very high dancing musical theatre production. I was dancing 3 hours a day, 5 days a week for 2 months and the shoes still look and feel great!! I love them.
Is the heel insert supposed to be glued to the heelis it supposed to be loose?
by: Jules (08/06/2021)
The insole should be glued to the shoe. If it is not you may have received a defective item. You can return the defective item to us for a refund or exchange. We apologize for any inconvenience. - DDS Customer Service (09/02/2021)
Are these more durable than the lower heel counterpart?
by: Susan (09/06/2018 - Hensley-ar)
For a few years I have tried the FF01 freeform with no jazz heel. They are not durable at allmost of my girls wear holes in them the firstsecond week they have them. If I order to small holes form faster. If I order them a little big, after they stretch, the heels fall off. I love the way they make their feet look, but I'm at a complete loss on what shoe I need. Please Help?
Due to the type of heel on this shoe it does have more durability than the FF01. The heel is thicker therefore it can withstand more wear. - DDS Customer Service (09/06/2018)
