These feel great! I've never had a jazz shoe so light and unobtrusive. Maybe I'm out of touch and this is just how all shoes are right now but I feel like I can fly in these. I've been dancing mostly in socks lately and these don't feel much different. I hope they last!

Too small
by: Janelle - 03/19/2018 - Christiansbrg,VA
Comfort:
Fit: Runs small
I ordered these shoes a half-size larger than street size, thinking I'd be safe, but they are way too small. They say to order street size, but I would say order one size larger. It's too bad they don't have these sized correctly because now I have to send them back and pay the shipping costs all because I believed their sizing and even went up a half-size. This is unfortunate.

I ordered my street size women's 9 based on other reviews. Shoes are way too tight, can barely squeeze my toes in. Will try to exchange for size 10.

Comfortable shoe
by: Kelu - 12/28/2015
Nice jazz shoe for beginners, does run a little large. I would order one or one and one half size larger than street shoe not 2x as recommended.

Good basic jazz shoe
by: JulieM951 - 06/05/2015
Comfort:
Durability:
I bought these jazz shoes for my son. I ordered a size 2 sizes above his street shoe size and they fit just fine. He has only had them for 2 weeks so I can't really speak to durability.

Perfect beginner boy shoes for Irish Dance
by: MNIrishDanceMom - 09/05/2014
Comfort:
Durability:
These were the perfect starter shoe for my 2nd grader boy in beginning Irish dance. His teacher didn't want the young boys to have much of a heel at all. And the price on this site can't be beat! I sized up 2 from his street shoes like the description suggested, and they fit perfectly.
Couldn't be happier with this purchase! And I'm so grateful not to have to buy $100 shoes for a beginner!

sleek and comfortable black jazz shoe
by: mandy75 - 04/04/2014
Comfort:
my son (9 years old) is in a musical for a local acting school for which a pair of jazz shoes are required for rehearsal and performances. my son has very long skinny feet and wears a size 4 in kids street shoes. when I followed the chart his kids 4 converted to an adult 6 (which fit him perfectly). Initially I followed the additional instructions and added 2 more sizes (because he is a male) but realized when we got the size 8 pair in the mail they were way too big and that I should have just completed the child to adult conversion and stopped. So, I ordered the 6 (and again, they fit perfectly!). I have returned the size 8 pair for a refund. I have not rated the durability yet as he has not worn them yet for me to tell how long they will last but considering the brand and other reviews I am confident they will be a good investment.

Adult "E-Series" Lace Up Jazz Shoe
by: PlayMom - 03/02/2014
Comfort:

Ordered 2 of these pairs for my boys who needed them for a play they were in. I wasn't sure if they were boys or girls or unisex shoes. I ordered a wide in their size and hoped for the best. They were true to size and very comfortable for them.

nice quality, true to size
by: Heathr - 01/05/2014
Comfort:
Durability:
These leather jazz shoes run true to size in both length and width. I thought they might run snug or slightly small, but they didn't. I ordered these jazz shoes for my teenaged daughter. Had to re-order (street shoe size) since we bought 1/2 size larger on the first attempt. Very pleased with quality and flexibility. Will order new size, and return the other pair for refund. (Exchanges can take up to 3 weeks, they say.)

Nifty for auditions
by: CelticCat - 12/02/2013
Comfort:
I got these for a musical audition. They fit pretty true to size. My current sneakers are 8W and that's what I ordered in the jazz shoes, and there's the same thumb-width of space in front of my toes that my sneakers have. The jazz shoes WERE a bit snug when I put them on, but they're dancing shoes and they're supposed to fit your feet a bit closer than sneakers, etc. By the time the dance workshop was done, the leather had stretched out to a much more comfortable level. They looked smart and professional and helped me feel that way.
The only real drawback was that I could feel where the patch of sole (sole patch? :-P) under the balls of my feet ended and after standing for a while it did hurt. That may lessen the more I wear the shoes, and my feet tend to hurt anyways.

This items runs much smaller. I ordered 2sz bigger than street size and the shoes were still tight. Now I will have to return them for a bigger size. over all I like the feel of the fabric and I'm sure once I get the right fit they will be awesome.

Feminine, flexible
by: sasquatch - 05/27/2013
Comfort:
Durability:
Street size (to fit extra heel-length of orthotics): 13W (E-Series size 14W). Full-length padded orthotics fit nicely. (Padding needed for minimal-interior shoe with exposed cloth inner surfaces.) Toe box fitted with folds beneath toes & ball of foot so area of sole outside of turning-pad will wear but I haven't used them enough to give wear-potential, and only use them up to one night/week (Social English Country and Contra dancing). I'm grateful for a shoe that's large enough and also tan rather than black. It's trim-looking and very flexible.
