These padded modern Dance Paws protect the feet without compromising the look and feel of barefoot dancing. Made of form-fitting spandex and an elastic band, contemporary lyrical half soles do not shift under the foot or slip down. Other features include moisture wicking fabric that provides a comfortable and dry environment for the ball of the foot. Manufactured with 100% vegan materials. See sizing tab for important fitting suggestions.
I used to have problems with blistering under the ball of my foot because of my aggressive style, but I wanted to remain mostly barefoot. I don't go barefoot much in 'real life' off the dance floor so my feet remain fairly tender. So, I tried the padded Dance Paws after a friend recommended them. They worked immediately and I didn't have to resort to taping my feet. The pads are slightly more slippery than actual bare feet so they do take some getting used to, but then spins become more effortless. I did find the elastic around the mid-foot riding up toward the toes slightly but this was easy to pull back down on the fly. Overall a good product! I can't really comment on the durability yet.
These are awful. I got them because I thought they were the FootUndeez and I was really disappointed when I got them. I tried to suck it up and wear them anyways but the toe holes are suffocating, the elastic is very tight, and the seam on the inside digs into the side of my foot. I dealt with it for a few months, then switched to the FootUndeez.
The elastics and toe holes suffocated my feet. I couldn't wear them for longer than 10 minutes because my feet would go numb. Not to mention, the pads never stayed underneath the balls of my feet; they found a way to move all over the place! I prefer old school foot thongs.
These aren't my favorite types. After a few wears, the holes where you put your toes in started fraying, and eventually the paws started moving around on my foot when I turned. Please, do not use for quick changes. If you put the wrong paw on the wrong foot, they'll literally be ruined.
