Our most popular unisex slip-on jazz boot has a neoprene wrap that conforms to the dancer's foot for extreme comfort and a sleek look. Made of soft glove leather in a split-sole design with a cotton lining and heel counter for stability.
I purchased these shoes in a size 8 about a year ago, and they fit just fine. Unfortunately, I reordered the same shoes in the same size, and they now run large. Had to return them for a different size.
I got these after being disappointed with another Dance Class jazz shoe, and these are the best I've had so far! The shoe fits nice and snug and makes my arches look awesome. Their durability is great because I've had them for about a year and the toe still hasn't worn though. The sole is nice and smooth, enabling me to do the quadruple pirouettes that my jazz teacher makes us do.
I got these at a local store for auditions and for a 1 hour class I am required to take for my degree. I have Jazz twice a week and so far they have been holding up and we're just past midterm. They do stretch out so buy a size smaller than what seems comfortable when you try them on because they are always tight to begin with. The heel does slide off sometimes but other than that they have been great.
These shoes are so easy to turn in and they are very stylish, but there are some cons. First of all, the heel is uncomfortable to me. It hurts me when I jump, and when we do stretches on the floor they slide around and make the shoe come off of my foot. They are also really slippery so be careful. The material on the inside of the shoe irritates my sensitive skin when I wear them without tights. I highly suggest wearing tights with these shoes. The durability is of pretty good quality. If you take care of them properly, they'll last quite a bit of time!
