I really liked the design of this tutu, and would recommend it to a friend and would encourage them to purchase the size larger than they normally wear. My daughter wears size 8 pants and size 10 tops, and this tutu is too small! I'd suggest the Medium, (8/10) for those who wear a 6 or 7. If I can't find someone in her class who still needs this size, I'll be returning it. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to come in a Large, (12/14).
I purchased this leotard in pink for my 2 year old daughter. She's in love with ballerinas and I wanted to surprise her with her own outfit. Let me tell you this leotard is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! It's really well made, it has a nice quality, color, and style! I bought the 2-4 size and it fits perfect, and there's still room for when she's older. The tutu is gorgeous! Couldn't have been made any better! It's really fluffy, has lots of volume and it's beautiful! You won't regret getting this leotard! I totally recommend this item for anybody who wants a beautiful ballerina!
I measured my 5 year old daughter and she should be in a 6-7 but when we got the leo it is too small for her. She is tall for her age but geez. I have to return it and get an 8-10 which seems silly for a 5 year old. It is really cute but RUNS SMALL.
I bought like ten different tutu dresses for my 2 year old baby girl for Christmas 2013 and she absolutely loved the materials, the decorations and the colors. This was one was one of them. She looked so absolutely adorable. I am a former classically trained ballet dancer and I waited 38 years to have children, I had boy/girl twins, after that I had to wait another 2 years to dress up the baby girl as a ballerina. And that time finally came this Christmas in 2013. OMG!! She is so super cute in those tutus. Our Christmas card this year is a picture of all of us together and in it I am wearing MY tutu dress, tights and pointe slippers and she is also wearing one of her tutu dresses, tights and shoes. We are going to send this card to everyone we know!! I love this website!!
My daughter wore this to dance class all through last year. It is a classic dance piece for a small child. It is very durable and looks new despite several trips though my washing machine.
