I just got these Uncle Ba Ba's Sachets and they smell so good!
I already put them in my point shoes and I like that they "adapt" to the shape of my shoes.
I consult my ballet teacher about these sachets absorbing moisture and she like that and she also liked the fact that the shoes will smell good because that's a big problem with pointe shoes.
I like to sew I NOT saying Im any good at it but I prety sure that I could make these. All you need is a thin fabric the string stuff and the filling. Im going to try it insted of paying 3.45 and if it wont work THEN Ill buy it!
I'm not on pointe yet and I worry about my slippers all scrunched up in my bag, losing shape and ultimately getting destroyed. Would anyone recommend these sachets for regular slippers? I have three pairs.. split sole Grishkos (canvas: performance), split sole Capezio Juliets and to build strength I recently bought full soled Bloch. I just worry as my shoes are all crinkled in my bag.
Though these are typically sold for pointe shoes, they may help maintain the shape of your regular ballet shoes. - DDS Customer Service (05/20/2013)
You certainly can!
I also have the Bloch ballet slippers and I bought a pair of these sachets for these slippers as well.
It not only keeps the moisture and "stinky" smell away but it also "molds" to the shape of your slippers.
Good luck! - Mabea (11/15/2014)
