I was very disappointed when I finally got these shoes in. While they were the correct size, the “nude” color is a vibrant gold, and I felt like I paid more for the packaging than the actual shoe itself. The heel looks like it will fall off at any moment and it really effects balance. Overall, extremely disappointed.

DANCE SHOE
These are comfortable to foot but heel so small feels very unstable to me for a shoe of this money. When stepping back the shoe is soo pointed that you can feel it give and the heel offers no stability. I thought the competitive shoe would be better

dancingselchie 01/29/2014 Boulder, Co Age: 35 to 44 What size would I order if I am a size 7 street shoe with a wider ball of my foot?
This particular shoe runs true to size, but if your foot is wider, I would recommend ordering a half size larger to accommodate the width of your foot. - DDS Customer Service (02/08/2014)
If you would like to try these, I would recommend getting a 1/2 size up or going with a 7 and a shoe stretcher. There's very little variance between a 7 and a 71/2 in the toe box but getting an 8 would just make the shoe longer instead of wider.
I wouldn't recommend these if you have a wider ball of your foot because these are definitely narrow and the closed portion covers the entire of the ball of my foot (no toe cleavage whatsoever). If for some reason, your foot started to swell while dancing, I think these would make you uncomfortable because what little room it had to accommodate would be completely taken up.
If you still want something closed toe, I would recommend getting a Bloch or Capezio. - Noelle (01/24/2016)
