First time trying a leotard with a built in bra. Not really sure how one is supposed to get into it easily, since the hooks are in the back, and you can't really twist them to the front with a leotard like you can with a bra and can't do them up beforehand since they have to fit over your hips. I usually wear a small size with an a-cup chest. The leotard itself fit fine everywhere but across my breasts where it was a little snug and since that is where the bra lies it doesn't stretch as much. Fabric is thicker than i am used to but very soft.

This leotard offers great support and coverage, but I also frequently wear it under dresses when I need that extra layer. I'm 5'4", 118 lbs, B bra cup, and the medium fits perfect. I machine wash mine on cold and hang dry. I would buy more of these.

Finally! A leotard that fits my post-pubescent body! As a grown adult woman, I have hips. I’ve had them since I was 15. Finally! A leotard that covers my rear end without sliding up! The bratek also fits in the chest.

I wish they would make these in other colors. While many people cite support as the need for a better front lining or bra in a leotard, my problem is nip coverage, and this does the trick. That said, it is very awkward to get into as it has an actual bra with hooks sewn in and the material is rather thick and tight. Once on it can feel rather binding, but it does solve the problem. I'd like them to make something like this in an array of colors.

I have always felt a lack of breast support in leos. Shelf bra's have never felt like enough support and I always end up having to wear another bra underneath to prevent myself from bouncing or spilling out. I am a 32C in bra size and typically wear a small in shirts, in some cases medium, depending on the fit and style. I decided to order a medium in the leo. It fits my bust and waist very well though it is a little bit longer in the bottom because I have somewhat of a shorter torso, it is still fitted and not particularly baggy at all. I am very satisfied with the support it offers when jumping and turning. I wish there were more colors and styles!

This thing is the BEST leotard for us busty women! i'm 5 ft 7 and 145 lbs, 34DD and I cannot say anything bad about this at all. The material is great, and best of all, the support that I have been dying for in leotards. The strap in the back makes the BIGGEST difference, there is now show through and I can do my leaps and floor work with freedom, confidence and a peace of mind. YES! I bought 2, now I just wish they had this in multiple colors!

OMG, ladies, this leotard...bra...miracle of a thing is amazing. I rarely outright gush, but this deserves it. I'm a 34DD, and this leo gives me the support I need. It's great on its own or layered under another leo. I usually wear thins, then tights, then another leo. But more than that, I almost always wear one of these under my regular clothing too. I often wear this instead of a bra! This leo has had near-daily-wear since last August, with frequent hand-washing and drying in front of a space heater, and still looks and feels new. In fact, my only complaint is it's not in a light tan (please don't call it nude--all nudes are different) so that I can wear one under summer stuff. Well, presuming the Portland area ever sees summer again! LOOOOOOOVE this miracle of a thing!

After years of searching for a supportive leotard, I've finally found the one! I usually wear a D or DD bra, and this leotard is leaps and bounds better than any other leotard I've tried. Jumped and leapt in class, only with a little bounce considering, and it worked great! My only complaint is that because there's an actual bra sewn into the leotard, one time one of the back clasps came undone and kept jabbing me in the back until I re-hooked it and it stayed put. I wish that this brand would come out with at least more colors, or eventually more styles with this type of support.

If you need support in a leotard, this is the one. When I tried this leotard, I was so happy with it. I've finally found a basic camisole leotard that works for me. My size is around a 36B, bought a medium, and it fits well. Just remember to wash in cold or it will shrink.

I am really impressed with the leotard! I always buy capezio's in a medium (5'5'', 113lbs) so I marked this as "true to size", but if you're thinking of street sizes, then this will run small. The Bratek really does feel supportive and holds you in place. There is great coverage in the booty as well. The fit is very comfortable and the straps are adjustable which just rounds out the customization. I wish the leo were a little more aesthetically pleasing (maybe a pinched front?), but it fits so well that it doesn't matter! I'd buy this again.

I really, really love this leo! I have never been a "bigger girl" by any means, but I always have had a larger chest than the stereotypical ballerina. But this leo gives so, so much support and I love it.
I got this leotard expecting it to give about as much support as a swimsuit with a built in bra does, but I was amazed at how wrong I was. I would dare to say that when I wear it, it gives me more support than I would get if I were wearing a sports bra. It just kind of sucks everything into place and I don't bounce at all when jumping or doing cartwheels. It truly is fantastic.
As far as size goes, the leotard fit as expected, although the adjustable bra strap in the back thing was a little smaller than I thought it would be. I wear a 36 C bra, am 5'4" and weigh 122 pounds. I ordered a medium and it fit great.
I was worried from the look of the picture that the neckline would be too low for my personal liking, but the neckline was perfect.
Really, I love this leo and recommend it to all.

My go to leotard

This leotard is truly the best! I wish it came in more colors and styles with the BraTek, but other than that it is wonderful. I have a huge problem with finding leotards that are supportive and cover my "headlights" and this one does the job. It is true to size. I am 5'5, 61in girth measurement and a 34 C in the bust and a L fits great. I would recommend this leo to anyone!

I was so excited to find this leotard, for years I have been safety pinning a strapless bra into my leotards for performances. With this leo, I didn't need to and felt completely secure! I usually wear a medium and the M fit just fine, and the bra inside worked beautifully! I hope more colors become available, I would love to have one in nude to wear under other costumes!

Size up, and get good support!
by: Dancernonymous - 02/03/2015
Comfort:
Durability:
I'm 5'1 (1.56m) weigh around 105 lbs (48kg), and am a C cup. I followed what other reviewers said, and bought a M size, instead of S. This leo fits me really well, and kept me supported throughout classes. I've been using it for a few months now, about once a week, and it still holds well! It also has a modest cut leg line if you like to wear underwear, so it doesn't show through. The only slight issue I faced was getting the bra part on.. I was so afraid that with all the stretching, it will eventually loosen. It also takes some skill to hook the bra while it is on, though I know of people who hook it before they pull it on. A very minor issue, in my opinion. Overall, it looks and feels great. I love it!

Comfortable and Reliable
by: AvaBallet - 01/31/2015
Comfort:
Durability:
I thought that since it featured the built-in bra, it wouldn't be as comfortable or reliable as my old leotard. I was also worried that it wouldn't have enough support for echappes and jumps. I was wrong! The only thing about this leotard is that you should listen to the reviews. I'm tall so I usually wear a medium, but since people were claiming it runs a little small I got the next size up. It wasn't too baggy after I adjusted it. Very satisfied with my order.

Runs Small Order 1 Size Up
by: CardioYogaDancer - 09/19/2014

Normally I am a medium but boy the tight fabric made it really hard to get past my thighs. I had to return the medium and order a large. I am 5'5" and 125 LBS. I have a big chest 36D and this leotard held those puppies in I didn't even need a bra! Which is amazing because normally I have to wear a sports bra with everything!

Didn't think it was possible.
by: TQ29 - 08/03/2014
I was a skeptic, having experienced plenty of camis and dresses with "built-in shelf bras" and learned that those things, as a rule, do not support me. (For reference, I'm an athletic 5'9", C cup, and usually wear a dress size 6 or 8.) But when I needed to replace my old black leo, I figured I'd give this one a shot, and the worst that could happen was I'd need to wear a bra with it. I am amazed to report that, for the first time ever, I do not need a bra with this thing. The whole leo feels like a sports bra. (I think there's a bit of compression in the rest of the torso too, but I'm not complaining.) Very, very little bounce, even in a long series of jumps in class. The only time I needed to adjust was after a long forward fold-style stretch, and even then I wasn't in any danger of actually falling out. This is a godsend for the dancer with boobs.
I'm usually a L in Capezios (M in Theatricals, if it helps), and this was true to that size. I also have the Capezio halter-neck leo, and this one feels as though its torso is a tad longer than that one.

Great Idea
by: ChiBallerina - 07/29/2014
I just got this leo today. I am about a C cup, and we aren't allowed to wear sports bras at my studio. I got a large, because that's the size I wear in other Capezio products. I tried it on, and it fit great, although it was a little baggy around the bottom. But the top was great, and I'm very excited to wear it to class!

Perfect!

Comfort:

I am required to wear a burgundy color for ballet. Although online there is no burgundy, I bought it at my local dance supplier. This is a great leotard that is just what I needed when my others were too small. I bought a small because I am 5'5" and 103 lbs (slim and tall). The back clasp bulges a little but its barely noticeable. The leg line is low so you can wear "undergarments" there without anyone knowing if you had to, but no need for a bra! I am a 34A and I guess I don't necessarily need BraTek but it makes my upper body look good. Overall, this is an amazing leo!

Great product, but be careful which size
by: natashia - 09/11/2013
Comfort:
Durability:
Bratek is such a great idea. And ya you know why. I am 32A, so I do not need support, but I want enough layering so that I don't have to wear patches or whatnot.
This is a great product for that reason. The design is great and looks very slimming. The only thing is that I am not sure if the sizing chart is accurate. I am 32A, (29-24-33) and girth 66. According to the size chart, I am definitely small. But small didn't work for me. It didn't even pass my hips. I can kinda wear it but it was very tight and very hard to stretch. The material is thicker than other leotards I own, so I had to get a medium. It works fine. A bit baggy in some areas, but it actually makes my body looks slimmer! haha
If your hips are wider than chest, you should consider ordering a size up. At least it was the case for me.
I love the leotard :)

Sautes? N problem.
by: Mcmitten55 - 08/09/2013
Comfort:
Durability:
This is my all time favorite leotard. It has the best support for busty girls like me. I hate wearing bras while dancing but sometimes it's difficult since I'm a C cup. I'm 5'4 and 100lbs and medium fit just right. The only bad thing I would say is that it's a bit difficult to get over my hips but I don't think it's a problem with the leotard itself and more of my hourglass figure. This leotard keeps your breasts in place so there's no need to get uncomfortable during sautés anymore.

Great for chesty girls!
by: MusicalTheatreMajor - 07/26/2013
Comfort:
Durability:
I'm very petite (5'2", 98 lbs) but I'm very chesty (34d). I have tried other leotards and I can't really wear a bra with them because 1) normal bras are extremely uncomfortable to dance in and 2) dance bras are not enough for me. This is perfect! I was confused, however, because I ordered five in size small, and was sent mediums for all of them. However, they fit perfectly! I would recommend ordering a size up.

Capezio is genius for coming up with the BraTek idea. I have this in black and I want to also buy it in blue or burgundy. For a dancer, I'm rather busty (38C/36D) and this is the answer to my prayers. A must-have for any dancer.

Great leo!

This is really the perfect leo for girls with a chest. I am 5'9 and wear a D cup. Mediums generally work for me and this was true with this leo as well. I love that you have adjustable closures in the back. This is the first leo I felt really comfortable in! I don't have to think about my leaps because I know I will be supported. It may not be the prettiest leo, but at the end of the day I wear it the most frequently of any I own and it still performs like it is brand new. I wish it came in other colors!

This is a great leotard! I've had it over a year and a half, wearing it 2-5 times a week. I has lasted forever, and it's very comfortable! The bra started to show wear and the cups started showing through after about a year, so I cut the bra out, and there is shelf lining which still provides enough coverage. Overall a great leotard.

i bought this leotard for a first time dance class and it is good but not as perfect as i would prefer. in the chest area it is a bit tight but after about ten minutes of moving it becomes more comfortable. the part i dislike the most is the fact that i spend at least two minutes trying to get it over my hips. the fabric doesn't have much give at all and that can be an issue when bending back.

A little uncomfortable
by: nycballerina - 06/19/2012
Comfort:

So I bought this leotard cause they had it in the color I needed i got a small not a x-small which is usually what I get in capezio because they normally run big. I'm 5' the small fit perfectly on the top. I think once they add all of the bra stuff in there the leotard size sorta gets messed up because the top was almost tight while the butt was a bit baggy. There were 2 major things that sorta bugged me.
1) you can see the back of the bra in the back of the leotard
2) in the front of the leotard there's so much lining it sorta comes up shows when you're leaning foward or back.
I know all of that sorta makes the leotard seem bad but overral this leo is well made i think would fit someone with a bigger bust than me.

Just got this leotard in the mail. Was really excited about it since I'm a D cup and don't like going without a bra. I have gotten other Capezio leotards in the past in size large and they always fit just right. This one seems so small and tight. I could barely get it on and really had to stretch it hard to cover myself up top. I like the idea behind it but if I do decide to give it another try and buy another, I think I will opt for the XL since it seems to run small.
