I literally picked up the shoes on a Saturday and performed on Monday at Cesar's Palace. The heel broke off during the show! Thankfully it was during the last count of 8, but still...

moonlightgal08/20/2014A GREAT PAIR OF CHARACTER SHOES
I was looking for a nude character shoe and love this brand, so when I saw that they only had the 2" heel available in the t-strap, I decided to order these instead of the traditional character shoes in a 1 1/2" heel (the 2" only come in black and caramel). I ordered my shoes in my street shoe size and the sizing was great! Don't order to your regular high heel size.

Monica04/14/2010 California,MOST COMFORTABLE AND DURABLE!
I bought these shoes from Discount Dance in 1998. They have made it through 4 high school productions, 6 professional year long shoe runs, and they still fit great and look great!

Erica08/28/2009 Atlanta, Ga,AWESOME!
I bought two pairs (put taps on one) to take with me to the Radio City Rockette Summer Intensive. I did get some pretty brutal blisters on the back of my heels, but overall the shoes were incredibly comfortable. I normally wear an 8 in street shoes, but the 9 was a perfect fit. I would definitely recommend getting the soles rubberized too, because they are seriously slippery on the bottom. Altogether, these shoes are fantastic! Once they are broken in, the leather literally conforms to your feet!

broadwaygirly03030307/11/2008 New York,
I LOVE these shoes! They are my all time fave dance shoes. They're so comfortable. I'm an actress/dancer/singer and have worn the same pair for around five shows. They totally last and are totally perfect for the stage!

Kelli01/15/2008 Southern California,
The shoe's leather upper is very soft and forms to your foot. Shoe size runs one whole size larger than street size. Bottom of heels wore through to nail after 32 wearings and heels became loose. Really shows off the legs!

Jennifer11/05/2007 Granby, Ct,
We ordered these shoes by the sizing they suggest, same as street. It is wrong and I am not happy I now have to pay an extra $5.95 for shipping! My daughter is between a 6 and 6 1/2, we ordered a size 7 to give her room to grow. They were too small! It seems she may need an 8. Way different than street size!

I love these too. I suggest a heel bridge to strengthen loose heel syndrome mentioned in other review. Most shoe repair places do this for a small charge and it's made mine ideal!

Morgan 03/06/2019 Age: 15 to 18 Does the sizing of this style match the fitsize of the capezio Jr light 1.5
I have major difficulties finding shoes that fit me correctly as I have a misshapen right foot. A 7W just barely works for me in the 1.5" jr light character shoes by CapezioI want to know if the same size should work for me in these shoesif I should size up an extra .5, maybe even 1 size for the best fit. I need shoes I can dance in for promhave been on the hunt for over a year- then I remembered about the qualitycomfort of my old pairs of character shoes when I performed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, thank you for your inquiry. I would recommend going up 05 or 1 full size like you were assuming you should. Capezio shoes tend to run narrow. So half a size may give you the extra room you need. But in all honesty, a full size wont hurt either. There is about a quarter inch difference between the sizes. I hope that was helpful. - DDS Customer Service (03/20/2019)
"Capezio Adult T-Strap 2" Heel Character Shoes" VS 01/05/2016 Age: 18 to 24 What is the difference between "Capezio Adult T-Strap 2" Heel Character Shoes" and "Capezio Adult 2"
I am a senior in high school and have just received a lead role in a musical. I am going to need character shoes for this role but I am stuck on the difference between these two shoes
"Capezio Adult T-Strap 2" Heel Character Shoes"
and
"Capezio Adult 2" Jr. Footlight T-Strap Character Shoes"
I am going to continue theatre throughout college if that helps.
I just would love to figure out the difference because I need to buy these shoes ASAP and don't know which to choose.
I've heard Capezio is a really good brand so I am interested in one of these.
