Body Wrappers supremely soft mesh back seam convertible tight features a reinforced toe and foot, a run proof mesh, a sewn-on logo waistband, and a dyed-to-match coolmax nylon gusset. Wear them to dance class or performances!
We originally bought only 2 of these tights for a nutcracker performance 10 months ago. For the first month my oldest only wore these when she had to, as they were just a bit more than wearing regular tights and she needed them specifically for the performance and we wanted to make sure they lasted through that particular weekend. Ironically, after that they would be the pairs that she would wear when the others were in the hamper and they've held up exceedingly well as she just got a run in one about a month ago. She says they're comfortable, but not as much as a regular pair of tights, but they're mesh w/a back seam. We just ordered another pair in a size bigger, as she's grown since then and quite frankly, I expect them to last just as long and the size to hold true to size just as when we first ordered this particular tight for her.
These are great tights. Definitely get the Theatrical Pink and NOT the Ballet Pink (like one reviewer said, Ballet Pink is too peachy). Our studio requires seamed tights for performances and we've found this to be the most affordable and durable brand. My daughter says the mesh material feels a little funny, but not too bad. It is a slightly tighter weave than other mesh tights, which is more comfortable for her and probably adds to the durability of the tights.
I love these tights!
The durability and comfort are through the roof! They are so AWESOME. I had originally gotten them for a show. But, I wore them a few times for classes and thought I could save my old clean ones for my show. The seam is lovely this is the first time I got them with a seam, but I had seen others at my studio with them and thought they looked very professional looking.
I had seen from others comments that the ballet pink was very pink and so I got the theatrical pink, It is such a nice, normal, tight color so I don't look weird. One girl a while back had gotten the ballet pink and it is so linked compared to the other tights. I am so thrilled with these tights, which is hard to say that I fell in love with these, and I am usually that person who doesn't like to wear tights. LOL
I love the seam!
My girls love these tights. They are a beautiful color, and don't turn "white" like the lycra tights do . . . they look great no matter how many times you wash them. The mesh also lasts lots longer and is not prone to running holes, so they are a great value too!
Is the theatrical pink lighter than the ballet pink as it is in the photo?

My daughter needs a light pink pair, not darker than her point shoes. The theatrical pink looks a bit yellowish also. Is it?
The Theatrical Pink in this tight is the lighter of the two. The Theatrical Pink is a light peachy pink and the Ballet Pink is a dark peachy pink. - DDS Customer Service (09/24/2012)
It isn't darker matches my pointe shoes perfectly. The theatrical isn't yellow. The ballet pink is brighter though. So, Depending if your pointe shoes look white, like I've seen some, the theatrical pink would be your best choice I think - Socks (11/18/2013)
I see this was asked over a year ago. But in case you haven't found the answer yet, I don't notice any yellow in these tights. My daughter is not en pointe, but these tights (in Theatrical Pink) look nice on stage in my opinion. - Cadancemom (06/01/2014)
We ordered the theatrical pink and it turned out perfectly wonderful. My daughter is lt complected as she's got auburn hair. We just now got a run in them about a month ago, but we've had these tights for about 10 months. - Momto2 (09/15/2014)
