I own two pairs of these tights, in black and light suntan. I first tried a S/M, because that is where I fit in on the sizing chart, but they were pretty tight around the waist and not very comfortable, so I re-ordered them in a L/XL. So, I would definitely recommend ordering up a size, especially if you are towards the top range of the smaller size.
The tights are extremely soft & are thick/opaque enough to keep your legs warm and covered, but not too thick that they are uncomfortable or that your legs get too warm. The foot holes are very nice as well; they are not too tight and they stretch quite a bit.
The only complaint I have with these tights is the waistband! It is not horrible, but it is kind of stiff (especially at first, of course) and does dig into my waist a little bit, which does show through leotards.
I love the black colour but the light suntan was still a little too dark on me. It didn't end up being a huge deal, but if you are pale and want nude tights that match your skin tone, you might want to explore other brands for lighter colours.
Despite the waistband, I think these are great tights and I would definitely recommend them! :)
The Capezio Ultra Soft Tights (footless) are above and beyond the best choice for our dancers. We previously purchased the Hold and Stretch and the dancers did not like them. They felt too tight and ran quickly. I highly recommend the Ultra Soft by Capezio
these are really good underrated tights.
stretch them out before you put them on
i'm about 126 with long legs and not the skinniest thighs but the L/XL fits perfectly. i really like them
however the white did not ship on time that's the only con
I ordered "Ballet Pink" which online looks rather pale. Once received, they are the color of little girls' pink tights. This was my first order from Discount Dance, and tights aren't returnable. So now I am stuck with two pairs of salmon-colored tights. The tights look soft and comfortable, but I can't say how they'll work out in a dance class since I will never wear them in public. Horrible advertising/bad return policy.
