DO NOT GET THIS!!!
This is probably the worst toe tape ever. It's not comfortable at all because it's more like masking tape than actual toe tape. Get Gaynor Minden toe tape instead (it's awesome).

THICK AND UNCOMFORTABLE FOR POINTE
I tried this tape to see if it would be longer lasting that my usual tape. This tape is very thick, bulky and uncomfortable in my pointe shoes. I am just going to go back to using the stick-to-itself tape I get at King Soopers, as it helps prevent blisters, instead of giving me MORE blisters. So sad I wasted my money when a better choice was a short drive away. If you want something like masking tape, this will serve you, but don't try to tape your toes with it.

When I received this Bunheads product I was really excited because they have really nice products. But it was a lot larger than I expected. IT IS HUGE!!! When I tried this product it came off and bunched up. It is terrible you can use cloth athletic tape it it works just fine! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!

GOOD... AT THE BEGINNING OF CLASS
I wrap only my big toe and sometimes my pinky. In the begging of my hour long pointe class they start to get soft from the sweat. That not that bad. Im still in beginning pointe, and it helps me so far, the prince is really reasonable too.

MASKING TAPE
The difference between this and masking tape? Flexibility. Seriously, this is super-thin masking tape. I'm sure it does a wonderful job of preventing friction for the few seconds that it stays on, but I was hoping for something a little softer than sticky paper. I put this on one toe just to see what it's like- it literally feels like wrapping your toes in masking tape, and it came off right away. I hadn't even tried dancing yet!

Emily06/14/2011 Quebec,
I DID NOT LIKE IT.
Wow! I got this along with a bunch of other Bunheads things, but it is just masking tape! It is very uncomfortable and to large to carry around anyway. Try cloth medical tape instead, I use it on the ends of my pointe shoes and as toe tape and as band-aids when necessary (allot smaller). I think this masking tape is going to the studio for marking the floor!

FALLS OFF AND NOT GOOD
I got this and used it when I just first started Pointe. It always fell off and didn’t do anything. I stopped using it and still never get blisters or anything. I just started using it but again it keeps falling off and it actually very uncomfortable compared to Pointe shoes in the first place. Looks just like duct tape but not blue. Always falls off and is very large to carry in bag.

JUST MASKING TAPE :(
I bought this with my latest pair of pointe shoes, and it's definitely not for me. It's very stiff and digs into your toes (it actually caused a few blisters on me). I even tried using over a bandaid in lyrical after getting a cut on my big toe; it could hardly stay on. I keep it in my room, and it's so bad that my dad mistook it for masking tape and put it in the garage...I think I'll let it stay there.

DOESN'T STICK!
This tape doesn't stick to your feet while en pointe. The tape starts to re-arrange itself, which makes it very uncomfortable to keep dancing because you have this big lump of tape on your toes. I don't recommend it--at all. Unless your feet don't sweat during pointe.

GOOD NEWS OR BAD NEWS FIRST?
This tape is okay. It works okay for me with keeping blisters away but when you sweat, it comes off. It does resemble masking tape and I have been asked why I use masking tape.

Pebbles03/29/2007 Oklahoma City, Ok,
EXPENSIVE BUT DOES ITS JOB
My daughter uses this, not only for pointe work, but for use with leather ballet slippers as well. She wore this under her slippers at a pageant once ... and it did not give her bunions or blisters! She also won divisional talent! It is expensive (you can easily buy cheap masking tape) but the benefits outweigh the cost.

Ceecee09/22/2006 Washington,
I always use this tape. Yes, it is like masking tape, but I think it's less stiff and easier to work with. I also like the fact that it's easy to tear and takes little effort to remove. And as others have mentioned, I would recommend wrapping the toes multiple times.

OKAY...
I think this tape is okay. It slipped off my toes after a while and was floating around my shoes throughout pointe class... but it's not too thick, so it doesn't hurt or anything like other tapes have for me. It's pretty much masking tape, but cheaper.

WORKS WONDERS
I love this toe tape... It's not like most others. I like this tape because it stays on when you do pointe work and it comes right off when you pull it off. It's not stubborn and hurt like mad when you pull it off... like athletic tape. The catch to this tape, is that you have to wrap it around more than once so that it will stay on. But other than that, it's fantastic. Great buy!!

VERY CHEAP! DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER
I hate this tape! It's just a normal masking tape disguised as a dancer's "toe tape". Plus, the only thing that says Bunheads is the paper placed in front of the tape, that anyways comes off when you remove the plastic, and you are stuck with a big masking tape. It's actually like 3/4 wide. I can't believe that Bunheads actually sells a product like this because I love all of their products. They are high quality (except this! Ugh!) I just felt frustrated when receiving this product. I don't blame Discount Dance, on the contrary, I want to thank them for having a lot of the products dancers need a click away. Just don't waste your time and money buying this and get the Pointe Bleue, Coban , or the Gaynor tape sold here better!

This is not my favorite tape because a lot of times it came off of my feet and was moving around in my shoes.
