Tough to sew, but...

Wow, these serve their purpose well! I love them!!
Pros: comfy, nice design, nice color, serves its purpose of preventing tendinitis, everything I could ask for overall :)
Cons: hard to sew (they're pointless if the elastic doesn't center your tendon perfectly, and this precise-ness makes it tough to sew), kinda expensive considering it's just 4 ribbons :/
Overall, they're great! A must-buy for dancers looking to alleviate pressure on the Achilles.

I have these for one of my pointe shoes, and these feel much better than w/ regular ribbons. I will use these for my future pointe shoes from now on. Highly recommend!

These are great and work really well! I have used the same pair for two pairs of shoes and they're still in great condition. They've helped so much with my achilles pain. My only problem with them would be the color. They look very pink next to my almost-white Russian Pointe shoes.

Great for achilles tendonitis

Anyone with achilles tendonitis will appreciate the added patch of elastic in these ribbons. The give is very helpful for anyone suffering from this.

BROKE OPENING NIGHT... TERRIBLE CONSTRUCTION

These are complete rubbish!! I was dancing the role of Sugar Plum Fairy... opening night public show and the elastic and ribbon unraveled during the Pas!! Luckily I had my elastics crisscrossed so it didn't affect my performance. i will NEVER buy these EVER again... BEWARE!!!!

These are the best ribbons!!! They are a really good color for Freeds. Also, the ends of the ribbons stay tucked in really well. Buy them!!!

Not very flexible. You would do better in buying Bloch's elastorib ribbons. Much better. Although Flexers match Gaynor Minden pointe shoes better than Bloch.

Cant live without them

I have very sensitive achilles and these take all the pressure off them. The colors are bright now, but years ago when I first purchased them they were a bit less shocking pink, but they still match A LOT of different shoes.
And come on people, these DO NOT replace ankle elastics!! It's quite obvious and all you have to do is read the product description (it never claims it does)!
These ribbons should be a requirment for all dancers!! I've had the 2 same sets of ribbon for 2 years now and they are still functional!
