I'm an older dancer returning to pointe work after many years. I have a problem with arthritis in my big toes that makes it difficult to get on pointe. I can use gel pads on my left foot, but my right foot is larger than my left. I haven't gel pads I can use on my right foot. Then, I tried these large gel tips. They Work!!! I can finally get en pointe without undue pain! I love them and I will be ordering more!!
These are awesome!! Do they tear eventually, yes, but mine last usually for 6-12 months before i need a new set. These are much better than the tan ones bc those cut off my circulation(and yes, I did get the biggest size in those). These are especially great for people with thicker toenails like mine that tend to get bruised(or feel bruised), or people who wear Gaynor Mindens. Soooo comfortable!
These are amazing and work as toe padding alone. Wear these with toe spacers, pinky pads by Bunheads and tape the rest of your toes with Gaynor Minden foam toe tape and you are set to perform on stage with comfort!
I love these, whenever I bruise a toenail, lose a toenail, or get a hang nail these work very well. They are thin enough that they still fit in most shoes without changing the fit but still thick enough to give protection. The one down side is that they dont last long. I was only able to wear them for about 5 hours total before they had to many holes in them to work. Great product, but short life.
I love these. My toe-nails are super sensitive, rip easily and grow-in continuously, which equals pointe pain. These things are my life savers: They cushion and provide comfort, without restricting circulation or being too thick. I also feel that they are better than the "Big Tips" from Bunheads - at least these clear ones last me longer! A great product.
There are a lot of things I like about these gel tips- they are very thin and do not cut off circulation like other gel tips can. However, they tore during the course of rehearsal and I went back to the old Bunheads "really big" gel tip for comfort since these are almost too thin.
How do I know which size to get? I would want them on the toe next to my big toe and I have fairly t

We don't have a sizing chart for this item, but I would base the size you order on the length of your toe as well as the overall size. If your toes are thin and short, I would recommend the size Small. If they are thin but long, I would recommend the size Large. - DDS Customer Service (12/30/2013)
