These toe pads are thick enough to provide comfort, but thin enough to feel the floor, which for some reason I like. They are washable, so I washed mine on delicate and they came out looking almost new, which is a big improvement because they were filthy.
I love Ouch Pouches! I just put a little pinch of lambs wool in the tip of my shoe and slip on the ouch pouch, and, voila! No pain at all! I can dance for hours without being slightly uncomfortable! The only thing is that these are small. If you have narrow feet (like me) then you will be fine, but otherwise you should get the large size.
I absolutely can't wait to get them!!! I'll be getting them in about a week or so after a friend of mine suggested these. My feet are super narrow and tapered, most especially my heel and toes. So I decided to get small. I just started pointe 4 days ago and I use 2 pads, "Soft Toes Comfy Slips" and " Tip Toe Foam", and I have one extra Soft toes comfy slips at my storage. My Ouch Pouch will also come with Leo's gel pads. Can't wait!
These were as comfortable as the other reviewers said, but the seam, although flat, hurt the tips of my big toes! I just ordered the Pillows For Pointes Gellows since they look the same but are seamless. Hopefully they'll work.
The really nice thing about this product is that you don't have to wear any tape and you barely get any blisters. But the thing is that it makes my toes super numb, to the point were it starts to hurt. On the other hand, you won't feel your blisters, which is very nice!!!
