This classic Body Wrappers convertible mesh tight with back seam features a professional sheer weight mesh appearance for superior leg definition. Made in the USA. See sizing tab for important fitting suggestions.
These are the best tights ever!! they last forever, especially for being mesh. they make legs look so skinny and lean! I have had pairs for years and they are only just know starting to run in the crotch area, which is any easy fix with a quick stitch. the pink never fades, with a lot of tights the coloring will fade and begins to just look white after a few washes and these never do that. also, I know you are supposed to hand wash tights, but I never do I just put them in the washer and let them air dry and they have still held up for years. The band at the waist is VERY comfortable too, much less constricting than Capezio tights. These are very comparable to the Capezio mesh tights in looks but are much more comfortable and long lasting.
My daughter's studio requires these tights, but we would not purchase them without the requirement. They are VERY thin and do not run but tear. We originally purchased five pairs and have replaced two within a month! She has worn Capezio seamed in the past and has pairs that lasted for two years. The Body Wrappers are sized long in the torso and short in the legs--the opposite shape of most dancers, so we are hoping that a size larger than she wears in other brands will work.
My teacher asked us to get these for a performance. At first I didn't like them at all, the toe part is really weird. But now I like them a lot. They have held up pretty good, and they make my legs look amazing!!!
These are the only tights I wear! The waistband on Capizio's tights is waaay to small. These are comfortable but they do get runs really easily if you put them on with sharp nails. They fit pretty well also
We had to get these for a ballet I was in, and while I liked them at first, they started getting holes (not just runs; HOLES) after about a week of light rehearsals and classes. I will admit that they are more comfortable than I expected, even though they do stretch out a little. Another thing is that the backseam, while looking fabulous, doesn't like to stay put when you leave the feet down. One good thing, though, is that you can stitch up the holes that these will inevitably get and coat them with nail polish to prevent runs, but they shouldn't be so easy to rip in the first place... I even ripped them just putting them on! However, they are still wearable, just not very good-looking. My advice? Get another pair unless you don't care about how they look.
These tights are great but they tend to stretch a bit. However, they do make my muscles look great! The back seam is very flattering. The waistband is soft and comfortable. It does not hurt at all. I'm about 5 1 and 110 lbs and they look and feel great on me.
Are these the same professional mesh seamed tights like Capezio style #8?

I understand Capezio #8 and Danskin #69 have been discontinued (at least, I can't find them anywhere but ebay). Are these BodyWrapper tights the same professional weight mesh, salmon-colored, backseam tights with reinforced toe and heel?
