I've been dancing a long time . . . my long time favorite tights were Danskin #69 which unfortunately!!! are no longer available, so I've tried different products and have yet to find anything that I've liked or has the same durability. (Hear that Danskin???)
I tried these based on the reviews, and they fit nicely, and I like the overall feel of them as they're softer than others I've tried, such as Danskin #72, but they ran in the toe area on the second time using.
I just hope Danskin figures out a way to bring the #69 tights back before I retire--based on others I've tried, I probably would buy these again for their softness alone.
I love this dance tight! It's very comfortable and it fits me perfect. I am African American and it was hard finding a dance tight that fit my skin tone. I tried all types of brands and this one is by far the best. On my dance team they recommend us to get skin color tights. I purchased Capezio cocoa dance tights and the tight was to dark for my skin color, color of the tight was made for a darker skin african american girl. Then I tried the carmel Capezio tight and it was too light for my skin color. Capezio dance tights also run small and they rip easily.I couldn't find a in between color until i found this dance tight. For my Medium brown skin girls I recommend you purchase Body Wrappers total stretch tight in Mocha. I can Now say we finally found the color that match us! also if you want transition tights i recommend that you buy footed tights and cut a hole at the bottom of the foot, it would save you a lot of money.

I am 5ft 10in. tall and weigh about 125lbs. I recently purchased a pair of ballet tights from a local retailer, but they ended up being WAY too small. What size would be suitable for a woman my height/weight?
With your given height and weight you fall into the LXL. Our size chart can be found in the alternate views. - DDS Customer Service (02/24/2014)
