Great!

These work great to create a quick bun for a squirmy child with slippery fine hair, and the bonus of the lighter color fabric is that I can mark on the fabric to let me know which end is up (saves a ton of time on rerolling and redoing each bun). This is hair tool that you need to practice with, make no mistake. But once you get the hang of it you can do an 8 second bun that will hold all day without the need for pins.

Great, But depends on what you are using

My studio recommends we use this product for our company hair. However, I don't use it. I have thick, below the shoulder length hair and it the products makes my hair heavy and gives me ha headache when I dance
If you are using it for other purposes than dance it is great!!!

Easy Professional Hair style

I am not a dancer. However, when you have long hair it is not welcome in the business community. You have to hide it. Thats why I love this product. Not a single work associate knows I have long hair. I look like a librarian it looks wonderful. 5 minutes to style my hair. The only drawback. Do not wear this at the airport. TSA's will make you remove it when you go through the metal detector. Put it in a clear baggy for carry on.

This is a really great product!!! At first I was worried that it wouldn't work since I have long, layered hair, but it works amazingly!! Normally I have to use about 15 giant pins for my hair to stay, but with this I only need about one or two and those are just to keep stray hairs in! But the best part is............. It's only $5!!!!!! It takes practice at first to put it in and make it look nice, but in the end you'll be happy!!!

great option

I bought this for a wedding for 3 flower girls age 5-10. After a bit of practice, we could do all the girls hair in a snap. We would take it out for a dip in the pool between events. and put the hair back to perfect in no time. Hair stayed looking great all night despite terrible humidity and competitive hide & go seek. All 3 girls do ballet and used the clips for recitals.

Great For Everything

After a few snaps on the neck, I got my hair into the perfect ballet bun! I use my hairagami at every rehearsal, and even shows! It works so well, and I don't need to use the hard to find blonde hairnets. I use a few bobby pins to lock the bun in place, and it looks great!

Takes some practice!

This takes a long time to get used to, and a couple fairly painful snaps on the neck. But now that I have the hang of it, even my shoulder length hair makes a full beautiful PERFECT bun. This is WAY more secure than hair pins and bobby pins! I have to pin a couple pieces in because I have layered hair, but this DOES work on layered hair, you just need to have patience for it. This really is a great way to make a perfect ballet bun quickly, and it won't come out no matter how many jumps and turns you do. I have shoulder length curly layered hair and this still works for me! I have auburn hair but I like blond more than black with it.

Hairagami is pretty cool. It does take a while to get used to it. I haven't totally mastered it yet but I can see how this is going to help me greatly, with keeping my long-ish hair up and out of my face at dance. I first put my hair in a ponytail and then roll and snap from there, it works a little better that way. You can't expect to get it perfect the first time(it does take some patience), but give it some time, this is a totally cool product and is really worth your money! Thanks Discount Dance!

I have several Hairagamis and I love them all! A simple ballet bun has never been easier! You don't have to worry about bobbypins, clips, etc.. They last a long time and are extremely hard to break. It works really great come recital time!
