The Classic series is the perfect shoe for practice. Featuring a professional ultra soft suede outer sole, 1.5" Cuban heel, ultra light weight, increased shoe flexibility, and a softer inner sole and deluxe cushioning for more comfort. A free shoe bag is included with each pair.
Cute shoe. I am not quite sure how to figure out sizing for this brand of shoes. I purchased another practice shoe in a half size larger and it ran small. This shoe I purchased in the 8.5 and it ran too large. In fact it was very wide for my foot and would have slipped a lot and rubbed blisters. The length was perfect. Sending it back.
I've been wearing these shoes for 9 months now and have had no issues with any part of them. They are comfortable and have been holding up well. The sole is fairly thin, but since the heel is low, it doesn't put too much pressure on my feet and is not uncomfortable. They definitely run large, though. All my other dance shoes are an 8 (my normal shoe size), but I had to exchange the 8 for a 7 in this pair. The 8 was almost a full inch longer than my foot!
The reason for the 4 and not 5... The buckle is not attached to the shoe. there is a hook attached to the shoe instead that you have to bring over the floating buckle instead. I like my shoe buckled tight so It is really really hard for me to slip the hook over the buckle. I had to get someone to get it off for me the last time I wore them. I have now sent them to the shoe shop to get the buckle attached to shoe (for $15.00). I would buy another pair if it had the buckle and not the hook.
I bought these in January when I started learning West Coast Swing, and have been dancing in them about 10-14 hours a week since. They've held up very well with regular brushing and good storage. I would appreciate a little bit thicker sole, since that would allow for some more padding and protection from the floor. Also, they run a little large. I ordered my street shoe size and I have enough room to wear socks with them. This is nice for practice, since it provides some more padding, but not a very desirable look for social dancing. I would order a full size smaller if I were to order these shoes again.
