Scuffs easily
by: Rose - 04/16/2022
Comfort:
Durability:
Fit: True to size
After buying these for a show I was in I was so excited to wear them. After wearing them for one rehearsal the whole show is scuffed up down to the last layer of fabric on the shoe. For only wearing them one time and them to fall apart and scuff this easily I do not find acceptable for the price of the shoes. Otherwise, The shoes are comfy, easy to break into, and heel size perfect but I would not recommend these shoes to anyone!

Tan Flaked Off of Shoes
by: Moore - 04/12/2022 - Dalton,NH
Comfort:
Durability:
Fit: True to size
The first time I wore the shoes, the tan pleather started to flake and wrinkle and come right off of the shoe. It was barely even used before it all started to fall right off. Usually Capezio is very trustworthy so I am guessing I just got a defective shoe but I was very disappointed.

Great shoe

I bought several pairs of character shoes to try on I ended up choosing this shoe These are a great shoe The color was a little bit warmer than some of the others I tried on which I liked Closer to the color of the tights and not gray The shoe was true to street size I ordered the same size as my street shoe and it fit great The inside of the shoe is lined with a knit fabric and very comfortable Felt very comfortable and secure on my foot Technically it has arch support but I couldnt feel it Love the cutout in the back no pinching or rubbing on my Achilles when I pointed my foot For me the quality of the Capezios was better than the quality of the Theatricals I have several shows coming up Ill try and give an update after its over to see how they lasted

I had to get these for a performance and I fell in love with them the minute they hit my feet. They don't give you blistered heels, they are super stable, and best of all these shoes are the most comfortable pair of heels you will ever wear. They have a very supportive arch and the T-strap is actually very flattering. Love these shoes, no complaints whatsoever.

I ordered a size 7 because I usually wear street shoe size 6.5 or 7 and it fit perfectly. I have pretty bad bunions on both feet but these shoes are comfortable enough that they don't hurt like they do in other shoes. The 2 inch is a bit high, but perfect for my needs in musical theatre.

Decent quality but narrow fit
by: Evelynn - 01/27/2016
Comfort:
Durability:
Nice shoes for the price point, however, the narrow toe box did not fit my wide feet. My feet are slightly larger than a size 6 in street shoes but I usually wear 6.5 to compensate for width. I ordered a 6.5 and they fit but felt very painful in the toes. The quality looks nicer than the Theatricals. I'd recommend to someone with narrower feet.

Comfy Shoe for Having a Heel!
by: AllisonRose - 09/02/2015
I don't do a ton of musical theater dance. I am usually in ballet shoes, jazz shoes, jazz sneakers, and the best is barefoot. I needed character shoes for a piece we are doing this year and I liked the T-strap on these, so I got them in black. So far they are much more comfortable that I would have expected, and I haven't fell or rolled an ankle! Bonus! I'm confident that they will last me through the whole year up to show time.

Good shoes. Break in well and rather quickly
by: ThePhantom - 07/07/2015
Comfort:
Durability:
I got these shoes and started wearing them for my upcoming musical's rehearsals. I have used them for 2 6hr rehearsal and they're broken in already. I think the color is a nice flesh tone, not dull or more grey. They break in well especially around the bunion metatarsal area where flexibility is important for comfort and movement. The leather in that area has become nice and supple. The way the sole is and the way that it is lined on the inside make the shoe comfortable and allow for a small amount of arch support which is better than nothing. I like it so far and its holding up well for amount of things I'm asking them to do like quite a bit of running and intense dance and the way that they're breaking in and wearing so far makes me think they will keep serving me well for a bit in the future.
