Danksin tights is an excellent product. My daughter is 5'6, 119 lbs, tall and thin. She wears an AB tight size. Danskin tights fit true to size, high quality material, durable with lasting comfort. Over a 14 year of dance span, my daughter has tried other brands but always returns to Danskin. Highly recommend.

COMFORT - I have been wearing these tights since I was 11. I've tried other tights to see what is out there, and none of them are as comfortable as these. The convertible hole in most tights can be uncomfortable to stand on if it moves around or is lodged in the wrong place. With these tights, it feels as if there is no convertible hole.
COLOR - Theatrical pink is like a lighter pink while the ballet pink is more vibrant. I have bought both and I don't have an exact preference - the color tends to wash out after a couple years (yes these tights can last that long!)
TIP - If you don't want to have the "fat rolls" from tights, just cut the top seam off. It makes them easier to slip on and it feels less tight on the stomach area.

Best tights ever!

I have been wearing these tights for a few years now. I absolutely LOVE that they don't have a seam where the toes go. Toe seams have bothered me since I first started dancing as a little 3-year-old, so I love that I have found a pair of tights without them. The fabric is soft and comfortable. The sizing chart works great! I have found getting tights in a bigger size can help with the wasteband sometimes (I don't know if its just me, but sometimes new tights can be a little tighter than I like before they stretch out, and it creates "fat rolls" that don't actually exist). That goes for all tights, though, not just these. I will probably not buy any other tights, though, as long as I'm dancing.

For the love of dance

Comfortable, durable, almost perfect. I wish the hole was done differently since that can be tight, but I just keep polish in my dance bag in case I pull too hard. A lot of tights bag in the knees. Not these. A lot of tights make my legs break in a rash. Not these. The non-elastic waistband is perfect. Aside from the way the hole on on the foot is edged (rolled hem on a server), these tights are perfect, and are all I wear for class.

Ripped, ugly reinforced toe

I had 2 pairs of these tights and both ripped on the second wear. I don't have this problrm with other microfiber tights, I won't but they again. 2 stars are for the comfort waist.

Pretty good tights

If I used my personal preference for backseams, I'd give these tights a 4-star rating. But if you don't care for backseams, then these tights are 5 stars all the way. The binding on this foothole is superior to the 725. This binding doesn't let runs happen!
However these tights are very song and comfortable. I have a latex sensitivity and most other tights have some content that includes latex (a lot of rubbers and stuff in some spandex formulas include latex). Dankin's ultrasoft microfiber absolutely does not., nor does the regular microfiber. This and 725 I highly recommend (and 72 for those desiring footed).

Comfy and nice colour, but reinforcement

Personally, I LOVE these tights. I am 5'3 and about 110 pounds and I ordered a B to be safe, and they fit perfectly. The waistband is very comfortable and stretchy (and not that weird hard elastic that is found on Capezio's tights...), but it does roll a little bit.
They are super soft and I do not have any runs in them yet. Make sure you are gentle with them, like with any tights, to avoid runs. Do not put them in the dryer; lay them out to dry on a railing or on a flat surface. If you have the patience, hand-washing does them well. If not, just use the gentle cycle.
The colour is also great! I bought "ballet pink," and was a little scared because they looked a little salmon-y in the package, but once I put them on they looked much better.
The only complaint I have about these is the reinforcing on the toes and heel. My feet are shorter than the length of the foot of the tight, so the heel reinforcement sits up high, more on my Achilles than my heel...Plus, the reinforcement does discolour the tights. :(
Aside from the reinforcing...I love these tights! I will definitely buy them again.

Kudos to Danskin for making a comfy pair of tights, but I can't say I appreciate the reinforcing at the toe and heel. I like that they've thought of it, but in the two colors that I ordered (black and light toast) the darker tones are very visible and not at all aesthetically pleasing.
I'm 5'4", 110 lbs and I ordered a S/M. I have a 26" waist and the waistband doesn't give me a smooth appearance no matter where I place it! I wish I had sized up and I will most likely stick to my Capezios in the future.

Runs right away!

While the material felt good on my legs, I had a run from the crotch after having these tights on for 2 minutes - not an exaggeration. That, and the material felt like it got all twisted on my thighs and wouldn't sit right. I wish they were more durable, because I really like the feel of the material otherwise, but what a waste of money!

These tights are very comfortable and very soft. Probably the reason some people had these tights rip was because they were being too rough with them. Just treat them nicely and they'll be fine. They're not too delicate either, but if you are careful with them and don't handle them roughly they'll last you a long time.

These tights are the best I have ever had! They are soft, stretchy and comfy! It is a wonderful bargain for such great quality. They never seem to wear out on me either: they have never gotten a run to wash them, I soak them in warm water and rub hand soap on them, then air dry. I recommend them to anyone :)

These tights are very comfortable and soft. But after only trying them on they had a run in them! I've worn them a few times since then and they've been fine. I would recommend these if you're looking for some cheap tights to wear for classes. These definitely aren't durable, and I would never wear them on stage.

These tights are fantastic! They are so soft and last really long. I've had them since August and there are no runs or holes in them and I take 4 ballet classes. I recommend them. They just have a really high waist band, which doesn't bother me that much :)

These tights work great for me! They are really soft and durable. I wear them three times a week and wash them that many times and they have no runs or holes. I bought two pairs because I heard they tend to run, and I haven't even opened them yet. I really like them and they're really inexpensive!

These are one of the best tights I've ever had. Very soft and the convertible foot is perfect for toe pads. I only had one run the first time I wore them, a little clear nail polish and it was fine.

I only buy Danskin tights after my experiences with other tights. I have several pairs of these. In fact, I have replaced my regular nylons with these as well. I did eventually put runs in one pair, but it has taken over a year to put any runs in one pair. None of the other have runs in them. I really love these tights.

These tights are really, really soft. The waistband is the best I have ever worn. It's not made out of tight elastic like so many others, but has a stretchy fabric that doesn't roll. Also, it's not tight so it won't give you that pudgy waist band look under leotards.

I absolutely recommend this tight for class. The new style convertible feels great underfoot as well as rolled up to the ankle. However, care is needed, as with many microfiber materials to be cautious of snags, but the fit and feel is an absolute dream. My only hope is they come out with European pink for performances!
