This celebration of spirit liturgical skirt feature a pull-on waistband. Skirts can be cut to desire length, there is no need to hem them. Size M is 30", L is 32" long.
This skirt is thinner than what I'm use to but I layer my garments anyway so I can deal with that. The purple skirt is nice and dark just as it looks online. Please note that it does run small. The waist is not that giving. What I love the most is it doesn't take long to ship. I got it in like three days!!!
These skirts are nice stretchy material and make lovely full circles while spinning. The colors are bright and look great under stage lighting.
They are very tight in the waist. An adult who normally wears size small should order a medium, particularly if she is taller than 5'8".
I am a praise dancer. I bought this dress in a size small and it barely covered my ankles (I am 5'7). It is not as flowing as I thought it would be. Going forward I would make my skirts. I would not recommend this skirt to any of my dancers.
I have this skirt in both the purple and the white. fits well, moves fluidly and I don't feel self concious as it is not so revealing that I can't move with comfort. looks good on those who are small or large in the group. good investment.
Could the skirt open up long enough to reach up to your shoulder or head?

I am wondering because im doing a spanish cultural dance and I need the skirt to be able to open up wide enough to stretch open and flow when spinning without being to close to us making it look tight.
This skirt does open very wide. As you see in the picture you can hold both sides out straight and it will still cover to the ankle. You could hold the skirt up to your shoulder or your head but it would shorten the bottom. - DDS Customer Service (07/09/2013)
You can hold each side of the skirt out approximately 35" inches on each side to the edge. When the skirt hangs normally the material folds to an average opening. - DDS Customer Service (06/19/2013)
We are doing a Spanish dance. We would need to be able to hold the bottom of skirt and lift it up all the way straight up.. I am wondering if the skirt's width and length is long enough to do that.
Not knowing how high you're wanting to lift the skirt, or what coverage you're looking for when it's lifted, this skirt is floor length and is typically used in dances where you can hold the skirt by the bottom, up to about hip height. - DDS Customer Service (04/30/2013)
