Adult Legwarmers

I bought these leg warmers almost a year ago now and they were a great purchase, especially for the price. I got them in gray and I absolutely love the color. They are the perfect full-leg-length. I love to wear them while warming up and during barre in class. My only complaint is that they aren't the best quality, and some of the threads have started to come loose. It isn't bad, and I can definitely still wear them without a problem, so I think it is worth it for the price.

These were as expected! Super warm and cozy, great for warning up, feeling comfortable during long rehearsals, and looking great! the only small detail, I'm 15, 5' 3' tall, and weight 100 pounds. I don't consider myself incredibly skinny, so these were very adjusted in my upper thighs, if you have bigger thighs, then I suggest looking for a stretchier material. So I don't think it's one sized. But other than that, average ballerinas thighs will work excellently. Super nice!!

Love these leg warmers as they keep my legs warm in between classes, rehearsals and back stage! Fit really well and do not fall down my legs when dancing, which is something that happens with other leg warmers. I truly appreciate how this style comes in multiple colors to curate and match to but not over power my outfits nor distract others while dancing.

I was so wanting to love these but no. They get caught on everything and the material pulls and now it just look like old and worn and mind you she wore them twice.

These leg-warmers are really comfortable. They don't really slide down or ride up. The band can be a little tight on your thigh (depending on your size). They fray pretty easily, so be careful with them.

FYI, shoppers, these are not a soft, pale or ballet pink like in the photo, but a BRIGHT BUBBLE GUM-COTTON CANDY pink. There's nothing wrong with that color, but this photo is very deceptive. Discount Dance should really update or photoshop it so people can know what they are actually getting if they order these! In short, if you want pale or ballet pink legwarmers, look elsewhere (or buy white ones and dye them on your own). Side note - they are very soft, but they are the same width at the top and bottom with an elastic band at the end, so they are uncomfortably tight around the thigh.

I have bought over a dozen pair of legwarmers from this site and these are the first pair that I am disappointed in. Very baggy and they are too tight around the top. The saving grace is that the colors (I bought red) are very vibrant. I will not use them for class though.

I got these legwarmers along with some other things to give to my friend for her birthday. I chose the 3-8 day shipping and it got here in 4 days (I live in the Midwest). When I opened up the box and saw the legwarmers, I wanted to keep them for myself. I ordered the blue color and the color is lovely. When I gave them to my friend, she loved them and she said they were her new favorite legwarmers. She wore them to class the next day and has been wearing them ever since to wear at class and she says they hold up really well. They get all pilly in the wash but you just have to pick the pills off. They are longer than I thought as they were 26" I am going to buy one for myself now because they are just so amazing. They are a must buy for any ballerina!

They are a little baggy overall and rather tight around the top. Very bright color (I have blue). They sure are warm and they seem to be holding up well.

These are great and give you plenty of leg room, if you want to wear them that way! I will be wearing these hopefully for years to come!

I should preface this by saying that I'm not a dancer. I just love dancers' clothing. So, since I hate wearing shoes and socks and it's starting to get cold and my old Target legwarmers are falling apart, I came here for new ones... I tried them on and loved them at first. They fit snug on my legs just like the photo and I wore them around all day and they kept my legs toasty and my toes unoppressed by unnecessary fabric. That night, I washed them (by hand in cold water and hung them dry as instructed), put them back on the next night, and after 5 minutes or so they started falling down. The elastic had worn out and the threads were starting to unravel. Now they're just saggy, tattered fabric around my legs, until they fall to my ankles. Again, I'm not a dancer, so maybe there's some benefit to this that I'm not aware of, though I don't see how it would be practical to keep pulling your legwarmers up while you're trying to nail that piece you've been working on.

These are great legwarmers. I would highly recommend them. In fact I have had a pair of these for a year and my sister asked me about them and she fell in love with them and we ordered 3 more pairs. You will not be disappointed at all if you purchase these.

These are not well made. The first time I tried these on the knitting started unraveling and I had to sew them back together. I guess the quality reflects the low price.

I was happy to find legwarmers. I had a little trouble. These are a nice material, and very comfortable, but keep falling down. They could be a little roomier in the top. My main need is ti keep my thighs warm, so falling around my calves is a problem. Do you have anything to help keep them up? They are nice and warm. I was out shoveling snow, and was cozy!

I love the leg warmers! I have them in grey and they go with everything! The only thing is, after a few wears the top elastic broke which was kind of annoying but really the only let down. Otherwise I would definitely recommend these!

I expected these to be less durable and a little shapeless and baggy with the price, so I don't mind that so much. The problem is the color. I chose "theatrical pink," but when it came, it looks more like pepto bismol than the subtle ballet pink in the picture! I wanted a pair of legwarmers that would match everything, similar to the color of my tights. If that is what you are looking for, you'd probably be better off ordering the white ones, as the bubblegum color doesn't match much. Like the other reviews have said, you get what you pay for. They are tight around the thigh and baggy around the ankle, but also soft and warm and I like the knitting pattern. The length is also perfect, I can cover both my knees and ankles.

I have just recently purchased these legwarmers and I knew when I ordered them that they would be 26". Well, when I tried them on they went up a little past my mid thigh! My legs are 34" and I'm 5'4". There is no way that these legwarmers are 26" long. I had the bottom pulled to the arch of my foot and they were still very long. Besides the length of them being inaccurate, the legwarmers are great. The acrylic fabric is super soft and these legwarmers match with almost any leotard because of the many colors they come in.

I just started ballet last year, and I really found that these leggings were great. They kept me warm through the crazy-cold winters I get, but they didn't make me sweat. I have the ballet pink, and they get dirty fast. But maybe that is because my class is right after a tap class, and the floor is very dirty right then. Overall a great product. PS- I luv the long leg-warmers!!! They are soo cute if you pull one above the knee, and push the other right below.

I got these for free for spending such&such amount on DDS. The color is weird, I got tan. It isn't beige, it isn't tan, it isn't light brown. It doesn't match anything, I just wear them with black. I like the knit design, it's very tasteful and unique. The thigh and foot opening are almost the exact same size. The foot opening has a small arch that goes on the top of your foot, if any one is wondering. Although it's really not that big of a deal, it doesn't do anything to my thigh and fits my ankle fine too. It's kinda like a really big pair of tube socks. There's no shape around the ankle at all, which causes bunching above the foot. It's very light weight, you can't even feel them, yet they warm you up immediately but don't get too hot. I like the length too, nice and long to get my hamstrings warm also. The only reason I gave them a 4 instead of a 3 is because I really do like them despite their "issues", and I got them for free! But I'm so fed up with finding a good pair of legwarmers that I'm knitting my own!

These aren't the best legwarmers. I bought them because they weren't very expensive. BIG mistake! You would be better off not buying these!

Can someone tell me exactly hoe long these leg warmers are? I notice the shorter ones are less expensive which seems weird.

They are 27 inches long, which for me reaches to my knees. - Tabiballerina (05/06/2015)

Just wondering if they are darker (charcoal-ish) or light gray. I'm costuming a dance piece and I'm looking for something that will not completely clash with gray N7004 which we're using as a liner... Since there's no photo of the gray leg warmer, it's hard to guess. Thanks!

N7004 is more of a silver color. The 4444Grey would be a much darker shade of grey.
