    Claims to be a "shaper" -- does it help hold in stomach and rear much?

    This shaper has a power mesh lining and molded shape. It will provide more support than an undergarment not advertised as shape wear.

    Obvious?

    I need a leotard to wear underneath costumes and in the changing room at recital time. I really want something that isnt see-through or un-supportive. I know you cant return them, so is this going to be ribbed, or very coarse in texture? Or is it going to be more like the average leotard in look? Any answers are appreciated asap. :)

    The content of this leotard is very smooth, and not rough or course. This has a mesh lining so it should not be see through and should offer support.

    Does this garment have clear straps? And is it supportive for a dancer who is well endowed?

    This shaper does come with clear straps. It provides moderate support, with no extra bra.
