The Garnet color is not as pictured. It is a true Red. This was disappointing to me as a teacher. Sizing runs small. I suggest ordering one size up from sizing chart.

I love this dress! I usually order a medium since I'm a little taller, but I went with the size chart this time and bought a small. It fits me perfectly & is super comfortable! The light blue color is beautiful, the skirt has an airy flow & isn't as see-through, which I like. I've only had it a few days & worn it a couple times so far, so I can't yet speak for durability. But so far I say it's a beautiful & quality item! I may buy it again in different colors.

Great for petite yet curvy girls

Bought this in a petite (on accident) for my 11 year old but it fits like a glove. She is fairly curvy and developed for her age with a longer torso so we always have to factor in girth - but this looks absolutely beautiful on her without being too revealing or too low in front and the best part is - it's not black (boring) or pink (ho-hum, again)! Wish they would make some more color options as this skirted leotard is feminine, beautiful, and makes her look like a million bucks! Only small negative is that the stitching is a bit weird on one side (probably where the built in shelf bra meets the seam) but it's nothing I would return it over.

Beautiful dress!

What a beautiful dress! I was worried about the sizing but went through and ordered the usual size I wear in any other leotard and it fit better than I imagined! The bodice is made with a stretchy cotton and it stretches more than I thought which makes it very comfortable. Its not as see thru as other white leotards I've had which is good and the skirt sits right at my hips. I think if I had anything negative to say about this dress would be that after washing it the skirt stays rather wrinkled but its nothing an iron or steamer can't fix!
Using this for a ballet dance for my recital and can't wait to see how they look onstage! :)

Beautiful Dress!

I wore this dress for one of my dance recitals and it looked very beautiful on stage and fit perfectly. It was quite comfortable but was a tad bit itchy and the shelf bra didn't serve much of a purpose. However, this was a lovely dress and I would recommend it!

I ordered this dress in Garnet and it is absoloutley stunning. The medium fit me perfectly, I am 5' 3" and weigh 132 lbs. The dress flows beautifully while it is turning and is sturdily made. I highly reccomend this dress.

Beautiful onstage, dyes well!

A couple years ago, we bought seven of these dresses for a short ballet (15 minutes). We dyed four dresses green, one blue, one red, and left the last one white. Most of them dyed well except for one green one. It came out kind of splotchy but it looked fine from stage. Not all of the dancers in the piece were stick-figure ballerinas, but it flattered each girl beautifully. The skirts flow very well and look very flirty and feminine. I love these dresses!

Mirella leotards and dresses are universally flattering and this one is no exception. I'm 5'5" and (yikes) 140 lbs and the large fits perfectly and hides my larger areas. It will, of course, look gorgeous on much thinner people as well.

Pretty simple dress, but from audience view, everything blends well. I am 5'2" with a bum and the skirt hides everything perfectly. Straps roll a little bit and white is kind of obvious if you don't have pasties on.

Great quality

This dress has great lines, looks much nicer than a leotard/skirt combination that keeps shifting and coming untied. I use it often for simple costumes. It washes well, and fabric softener makes it very comfortable.
