I was impressed that these shoes were comfortable and secure as soon as I put them on. The silver style is as pictured. These are described as having a 2 1/2 inch heel but they actually have a 2 " heel.

EXCELLENT FOR BEGINNER
This shoes is sturdy and durable. The best part is you don't need to worry about the pinky toes pop out. Good choice for beginners and practice.

LOVE THESE SHOES!
Love these shoes so much. I need these shoes for my new ballroom class and I thought that will be difficult to put on them and tie but was so easy. Perfect for ballroom class.

WAS SCUFFED BEFORE I EVEN WORE THEM
I really don't know why Very Fine is the recommended brand for ballroom dance shoes. My studio recommends them, so I thought I'd grab a pair. The "black leather" isn't leather, but some cheap paint that scuffed when the package arrived. I put them on ONCE to try them on and adjust the straps and the black paint already corroded off the strap and the back heel. These shoes are made in China, which is fine, but for the price you would expect them not to deteriorate the moment you touch them. I hope other shoes in this brand aren't so terrible in quality.

HAS A VERY STRONG DISTINCT ODOR. SMELLS LIKE GASOLINE.
The dance shoes fit well. It's true to size and good for the price. I'm giving it a four star because of the very strong gasoline smell emitting from the shoes itself. I think it's from the glue they used to glue the suede sole of the shoes. Also four star for the craftsmanship which I'm not sure of the durability.

GOOD LEARNER SHOE
I bought these to work on basic ballroom skills at home with my daughter. We're working mostly on carpet with a bit of dancing on hardwood. I didn't need anything fancy because we're not dancing in public, just something comfortable. These have a nice flexible sole and the strap is easy to adjust. Definitely true to size.
They're already starting to erode a bit on the soles after a couple of wears, so I don't think these are going to last incredibly long, but I'd love to be surprised.

NICE SHOE FOR THE PRICE.
This is a pretty shoe that works well for light dancing. I don't know how durable it is yet. It is fairly comfortable and attractive on the foot. I have dance shoes that are over 10 years old, but paid four times the money for them, so don't expect a whole lot of wear out of these inexpensive ones but a lot less money invested.

COMFY SHOES!
This is my first pair of ballroom shoes and I love them. I have arthritis and chronic foot problems but these shoes don't hurt my feet and I feel very stable in them.
