DanceMinor07/12/2015A SHORTY FOR THE
I am 5'6'' and weigh 130 lbs. The Medium fits me beautifully.
When buying new leotards, I am always concerned with 2 things: Will this cover my rump? and Will this stay over my chest? I have a very muscular build which makes my backside and thigh areas slightly larger than the average and my frontside smaller. It is incredibly difficult to find a leotard that covers everything and doesn't ride up or down. This hits the money.
The leotard covers my behind but doesn't have tight elastic on the edge of the shorty. Leotards and shorts that have this elastic squeeze my quads and hamstrings into a weird upside down leg muffin top that is just not attractive. And the straps of this shorty fit in such a way that my chest is covered at all times. I don't think I would recommend this leotard to a dancer with a small booty and/or a very large chest, though.
All in all, I am comfortable wearing it, and it makes my legs look even longer than they are! This is a great leotard for professional auditions that require black attire and character shoes.

airdancer06/16/2014HOPE THEY NEVER STOP MAKING THIS ONE!
More comfortable than a standard leotard, simple, but very nice. This is my favorite for class and rehearsal alike. Been wearing it for I want to say over 15 years now. Like your favorite pairs of jeans, just keep coming back to it. No other product like it.

It looks like a normal leotard in that the leg comes just below my hips instead of how it is shown of the photo.

Lauren@DWC01/29/2010 Kansas City, Mo,FOLLOW THE SIZE CHART AND EXPECT SMALLER
I followed the chart, read the reviews and ordered a Large. It definitely does not have much in the way of shorts, but it gives more coverage than a standard ballet cut leo! I got it to teach in and felt extremely secure in it bust-wise. I definitely recommend it and would buy it again! Natalie leos tend to have longer torsos - making them perfect for me!

Cathy01/04/2010WARNING
The unitard rides up in the back, so we had to wear an additional pair of shorts to cover.

I ordered a medium which is what I usually wear, and it was WAY too short, digging into my shoulders and gapping in the back. Very disappointed! It's going back :(

Dancin_momma05/08/2008 Florida,NOT FOR LONG TORSOS
I'm 5'7 with 59" girth and thin. My bum totally hangs out. If I went up to a Large, it would be too big in the bust. Oh, how I wish there were more leos made specifically for longer torsos.

Teresa03/18/2007 Cambridge, Ma,DISAPPOINTING - RIDES UP TERRIBLY!
I bought this, having read the other reviews, and hoping for a unitard that would fit about like a leotard, with slightly longer legs (like shorts) and no panty-lines. I was VERY disappointed in this item. I am 5'10'' and 155 lb, and I usually wear a large, but have a short torso. I own another Natalie full-length unitard in Large and it fits great, BUT, this one is way too long in the torso. The bust fits nicely but that is all. The shorts have only the inseam of a leotard, but NO elastic around the legs, and are not very snug at the hips (at least the large wasn't). Thus, they ride up terribly - to the same place a leotard would, at its greatest wedgie-moment, but with no pinch/elastic to keep your butt contained at all, and with lots of bunched up fabric around the hips. I do NOT recommend this unitard at all.

Amy06/24/2006I LOVE THIS!
I just ordered this and I'm in love with it. It's so comfortable and fits perfectly too. The princess seaming is very flattering, and even though the back is rather high, it isn't irritating and the straps don't dig in. Everything feels very supported in this unitard. I plan on ordering several more of these when I get a chance.

TLC03/29/2006 Portland, Or,NO PANTY LINES!!!
I love this item. I can wear it under jazz pants and have the same modesty I get from a leotard but no panty lines.
