I did not try these on because just the feel of the material is so rough I couldn't imagine dancing in them. Waistband is that stiff scratchy band similar to the theatrical tights. I don't recommend these tights at all!

TORE OUT FIRST WEAR
These tights are not good quality. Was careful when putting on and still tore out at crotch seam. Dance teacher very strict and can’t wear tights with holes so wasted pair.
We're very sorry to hear of your negative experience. Please contact customer service and we would be happy to replace the tights for you at no charge.

The elastic waistband was way too tight on me. If you are looking for another pair of tights maybe try the ultra soft stirrup tights (Also Capezio and also sold on Discount dance ) , they have the normal tights material waistband instead of the uncomfortable elastic waistband. Also the ultra soft ones are just that, soft.

They are extremely irritating to the skin and are itchy. They are very small and are hard to fit into. You have to stretch them out and even after that, they still don't fit.

OK, BUT...
It got the job done, but it shrinks and the waist band ruins your body shape.....

TIGHT AND SMALL
I'm 5'2" and about 90 lbs. I bought a small, and these tights are TIGHT. As in, the waist band is really squeezy and makes me look like I have fat rolls which is ridiculous. I guess the purpose is to suck everything in? The stirrup part is also tight and digs into my Achilles which is painful and distracting.
It's pretty durable though, but I suspect it's because it doesn't stretch well. It's also much thicker and more opaque than the picture suggests, so depending on the climate it's either good or bad. But I'd recommend spending your money on a different and more comfortable pair.

CONFORTABLE, DURABLE, NO HOLES!!
I bought these tights over a year ago and they don't have any snags, holes, or runs. This is always are a problem for me because I keep my fingernails fairly long, and when putting most tights on, I often snag them. But with these tights, I have never had this issue. The only con: the hem of the hole your foot goes through came undone. But it was easy to stitch. Very comfortable. Stretchy and soft. P.S: bloch tights get a LOT of holes.

This will be my third pair in one dance season. My daughter is about 5'6, but each pair is run as soon as she put them on. We are encouraging her dance instructor to switch tights. I am paying too much money to use them only once.

TRY THE ULTRA SOFT INSTEAD
I ordered the 145's for about 10 families from our studio. At the first competition, 7 or 8 girls had a problem with the tights - either they came out of the package with a hole in the crotch or they got a hole immediately after putting them on. We couldn't believe it. We thought it must have been a problem with a particular "lot" but after reading other reviews - it seems not.

LOOK ELSEWHERE
I've worn worse, but these aren't worth the money unless you're 5'0" or less and very thin to boot. I normally wear an A/B in tights, but I'm glad I bought a L in these, after all I'd heard (which is confirmed in the reviews here), they're still more constricting, but they at least fit. I had to stretch out the stirrup foot by hand to stop it from leaving uncomfortable creases on the bottoms of my feet. This had made them bearable, but in all honesty I only wear them when I haven't washed my other more comfortable tights.

THEY HELP
I love the way they make you suck it in. I love the tightness... wear them over your leo and they help you feel pulled up and in. I notice a huge difference.

ORDER A BIGGER SIZE!!!
I have these tights, but I had to buy a size large in them, once I realized how constricting they were & short on my body. They are durable, but I wear an XS in my street clothes & am in a large in these tights. Order a larger size if you buy them & you'll be set, unless you are very tall or muscular, in which case I can't imagine them fitting.

WAY TOO TIGHT
I like how big the stirrup is on the tights, but they are way toooo tight and they never stretch out. I am not that big of a person. I wear a size four and I consistently get mediums in tights and smalls in leotards. But I get the XL in these tights and they are still way too tight.

These tights look really good on stage and such, but I thought they were very tight. In other tights, I am consistently an adult small, but the smalls in this brand were really small. They were very tight and proved hard to stretch up to cover my legs fully.

DURABLE BUT CONSTRICTING
These tights will last you forever, and won't stretch out much. Unfortunately, I wished mine did stretch out a bit as the stirrup part felt too tight (and I'm not a big person, nor do I have a full profile foot either).
