My 16 year old has preferred grishko shoes since she started on Pointe at age 11. She has a strong foot, and these do not break down quickly. I would recommend if you usually wear a different brand, you have the grishko brand professionally fitted, as they do fit a bit differently.
I thought these would be nice to try with new material. The shank is totally different. Breaks really high- first 1.5” and doesn’t bend anywhere else. Which I heard from others. The material is forgiving and not breaking as far as glue and box go but it’s the wrong size for me and the shank won’t bend. I would size for typical grishko 2007 last as I went narrow and it won’t stretch enough to break in. If you need a super hard shank that doesn’t break these could work.
This is just to let you all know I wear a 7 in street shoes and ordered a 5 in these and they were much too small. Probably need a 5.5 or 6. I wear a 5x in bloch heritage for comparison. I ordered a xx in these and I think the x would have been too narrow
The vamp is higher than it appears in the pic.
The inside is lined like a Gaynor.
