I have given up on scouring the web for the original 2007 and felt I'd give these a try. I have found they are significantly wider and straighter (less tapered) through the toe than the 2007 (I hope the photo shows that). I probably should have gone with the Dream Pointe pre-arched 2007 that is still offered, but pre-arched styles often feel shorter to me than the original. I felt that the original 3007 may make it easier to guess the size...and do find my size in the original 2007 also works in the 3007. I have read conflicting statements on the 3007, some saying it's "identical" to the 2007, and some mentioning subtle differences in the toe area. As a person with very tapered toes and narrow feet I will say that the difference is very significant for me. Due to the straighter shape, the shoe offers far less of the support on the sides that I need so much. I feel a lot more pressure on my big toes and generally feel less balanced. It's truly a shame that the original 2007 wouldn't still be offered with how wildly popular it is. I've relied on it for years. We all know that subtle differences in pointe shoes are everything.

GREAT POINTE SHOES AGAIN AND AGAIN
Just love these shoes! The hard shank works great for my strong feet and they last. The shoe always fits like a glove. They are the only ones I wear.

WISH GRISHKO 2007 SHOES STILL EXISTED!
I ordered the Nikolay 3007 shoes with the hopes that the redesign would be much better. While the shoes do not slip off of my heel as much as the original 2007 shoes, the new roll through design makes dancing in these shoes much more difficult. I could not stay on releve, and I was having difficulty with every turn including piques and fouettes. I finally found a pair of 2007s on Poshmark. Since switching back to the old 2007 shoes, I can do hops on pointe, my turns are much better, and I do not constantly fall off pointe. Overall, the new 3007 shoes are horrible for students learning Russian ballet training. I wish Discount Dance would bring back the original Grishko 2007 shoes!

EXCELLENT SHOED
Sizing is same as Grishko 2007. Heel is improved, so don't need heel loop to hold up shoe. Wearing grishko for 8 years, and love nikolay 3007.

WAAAAY TOO SMALL
I couldn't use these pointes. Everywhere I read said that it was the same sizing as the Grisko 2007s that I've used for over 11 years. I purchased the exact same size as my Grisko 2007s and the only way I can get them on my feet was to not use any toe pads (ouch!). I am extremely dissappointed and will have to either find a new brand or see if I can get someone in Europe to ship me real Grishkos.

ORDER SMALLER THAN 2007
My daughter has worn many similar styles - nova , 2007. All in the same size. This shoe was too huge to even try. Too long and too wide. Not even possible to wear. Had to return. Maybe half size length and possibly width larger than her normal size

GREAT POINTE SHOES!
I have very low profile flat foot very low arch tapered toes short toes I’m a size 4 3x SS in these I have noticed a very slight improvement from the previous model 2007 I actually love these, the paste used in the shoe seems a little bit more flexible like a Flexi soft the heel gripper inside is definitely noticeable change the shoes seems lighter and not as hard I do use the SS shank. ITS THE SAME AS 2007 but improved. The roll through is better in these and balance platform improved.
