Experience the industry's number one favorite ballet slippers, the Dream Stretch StretchTek. Shoes feature a state-of-the-art thick stretch canvas for flexibility during movement and an arch-hugging design, elastic binding and pre-sewn elastics for a perfect fit, cushioned heel padding for added comfort, and a u-shaped high vamp. The Dream Stretch StretchTek is engineered to fit any dancer's foot.
I wore the Grishko canvas shoe for quite a few years. When this Nikolay canvas came out as a replacement (and I needed another ballet slipper) I decided to try this shoe. This is a pretty shoe on my foot but it took a couple tries to get the sizing. I remember my previous Grishko canvas ran small but this shoe appears to run even smaller and more narrow. I am a solid size 6 in street shoes with an average width (and no bunions). I settled on a size 38C (7.5) and it is a comfortable snug fit...next time I may even try a D width. The canvas appears slightly thinner than the previous Grishko canvas flats. I love that there is no drawstring and the elastics are pre-sewn.
