We now mail gift cards in addition to allowing you to print and send them online! When you order a gift certificate we will send, via First Class mail, an attractive gift card to the "ship to" address on your order. There is no shipping charge for this service. The card will ship separately from any other items on your order. This service is in addition to allowing you to send them online. After being issued a certificate may be printed or e-mailed by returning to this website and going to the gift certificate center under your account.
Gift Certificates may only be redeemed online at Discount Dance Supply. Gift Certificates may not be redeemed for cash, any amount not used on the certificate must be refunded to a debit or credit card at the time of redemption. Certificates do not expire. More than one certificate may be redeemed on the same order. A valid certificate code is required at time of redemption. Discount Dance Supply will determine the validity of any certificate redeemed before shipping any order that it is redeemed on. I have been searching for about an hour on how to redeem my gift cards. I usually love this website. But this has been very frustrating, because I have checked everywhere I could maybe possibly redeem my gift cards. I checked the "gift certificate center," the faqs, I checked the Q and A under all of the gift cards and I checked if I could redeem them at check out. Could somebody explain in a bit more detail than the last answer to a similar question, I feel like it is too vague. I am sorry and thank you:)
The gift card can be entered and redeemed on the payment page. Once you have logged in, and you have selected your billing and shipping address, click the "continue checkout" tab. This will bring you to the next page, which is the payment page. In bold it will say "Have a Gift Card to redeem?" and you would enter the code here and click "add certificate." - DDS Customer Service (01/24/2014)
At checkout I'm able to input my gift cards and it says that they've been applied but after I hit submit order, it doesn't show that I used a gift card. Sure enough, when I checked, the balance on the gift card is unchanged and my credit card was charged the full amount of the order.
In order to redeem the gift card you must first enter the credit card area and then fill in the gift card code. We have to have a credit card for the order in case of any later refunds or exchanges. i just ordered a giftcard for a friend, but I wanted to print out the certificate like the description said i could rather than wait for the card. How do I do this?
You may print a paper copy by logging on to your account and clicking on GIFT CERT CENTER ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE OF THE PAGE, then follow the intructions on the page for printing and email the gift card.
