My daughter has a very, very narrow, tapered foot, so it has always been a challenge to find a shoe that fits her foot well. The RP Nouveau is the best one yet. It isn't perfect (she wears a AAA width), but it hugs her foot better than any other we've tried. It really hugs her arch beautifully, while other shoes just hang like sacks. I really wish that DDS would stock other vamp heights, but the V2 is fine. The color is lovely, but gets so dirty so fast! We're on our second pair now, because my daughter's feet grow like crazy, but aside from being very dirty, her old pair are in perfect condition.

alicat10/13/2013FINALLY A CANVAS SHOE FOR NARROW FEET
This is based on one class, so I am not sure about the durability. I am usually a leather shoe person, as canvas shoes in the past have always been baggy and never fit right on me (sansha, capezio, body wrappers). I have tried Russian Pointe Almaz pointe shoes in the past, and fit these accordingly. I have an 8 narrow foot, so a 38 W2 worked great. Snug fit with no gaping sides, feel secure on my feet in class. No lumpy pleats, liner sewn in so it won't come unglued like my Bloch's. Elastic presewn. 38 W2 fits similar to a Bloch Prolite II (leather) in 5A. "A" widths hard to find online. Glad that DDS has shoes with narrow width options for fineboned feet like mine.

StaceyS 03/09/2014 Baltimore, Md Will Discount Dance offer this shoe in other vamps?
We need a 37 W1 V1, but you only carry the V2.
Unfortunately we currently only offer the V2, it is possible we may offer the V1 in the future but I cannot guarantee that. - DDS Customer Service (03/13/2014)
A child size 4 is approximately a women's size 6.0. To get the equivalent of a women's size 6.0 you would want to purchase a #36 in this shoe. Again, this is just an approximate measurement. - DDS Customer Service (09/03/2013)
I am a size 7 so what size of this shoe would be best for me?
Unfortunately Russian Pointe does not have an exact equivalent to a size 7.0. You would need to go with a 37 (equivalent to a 6.5) or a 38 (equivalent to a 7.5). - DDS Customer Service (08/27/2013)
Balletfreak 07/01/2013 Florida, Usa Age: 17 or under Width
I don't have really really wide feet but i dont have narrow feet either. I'm thinking on buying these ballet shoes and im just not sure what width would fit my feet I'm thinking W3 but I dont want it to be too big or too small! please respond!
Unfortunately we do not have the width measurements but our best recommendation would be to try the W3, as it is the most "regular" width. - DDS Customer Service (07/01/2013)
