    Are the legs fitted to prevent the costume from riding up in the hip area? Is the piping in the leg

    To size this item, please follow the measurements that are listed below under "sizing". The girth measurement would be very important, to avoid having this unitard ride up or fit snug in the length. The piping in the leg area is not tight, it is also very giving and stretchy like the unitard itself.

    No, the shorts ride up pretty badly. While the arms seem abnormally tight, the legs aren't. For sizing I suggest going up a size. While my girls were able to fit into their normal costume size, they complain about the neck, arms, and back being very tights. - Lpatt (02/23/2016)
