    MY FAVORITE FLAT SHOE

This shoe is my flat shoe. It's my go to, and I am on my second pair. My first pair lasted two years before getting some holes in them, so I purchased my second pair. I recommend ordering 1.5-2 sizes down from your street shoe size. Be aware that mirella shoes run fairly narrow. I wear a width 1-2 in Russian Pointe shoes (can't fit into any widths in suffolk, bloch, capezio, etc), and wear a B in these mirella shoes. That is partially due to the fact that they do not stretch at all; I learned that the hard way after buying my first pair too narrow. Overall I think the shoe is durable, hugs the arch well, and is a great option for those with more narrow, tapered feet, as this shoe is tapered in the toe area.

    EXCELLENT SHOE!

This is my daughter's favorite shoe! She does not have a pronounced arch and this shoe gives the illusion of a beautiful shape. The stretch fabric fits wonderfully, the cut down, thin split sole hugs the foot for a beautiful line. This show also comes in a very narrow width! My only complaint is waiting for DDS to get my daughter's size back in stock(took 2 months last go around!) I have taught ballet for many years, and this is the best shoe for narrow feet that we have found.

    THIS SHOE STINKS.

Of course everyone's feet and needs are different, but for me, this was a terrible slipper. Very thin material. The shoe kept slipping around to the sides of my feet, especially when turning which made it impossible to do so. It did not seem to have enough support or strength on the sides of the shoe. I did not like the feel of the pads. I also did not find this shoe to be particularly durable. For reference, I have also used sansha pro and bloch pump canvas ballet slippers.

    SOME EXCELLENT AND UNIQUE FEATURES

I like these because they are not like all other canvas flats. The stretchy canvas, arch-hugging sleek shape, and padding in the forefoot and heel set them apart from the pack. The color is a nice pink, as well, and blends easily with most tights. What would make me love them more? Get rid of the drawstring and pre-sew the elastics. Make those two changes and I'd have my dream shoe.

    WONDERFUL SHOE!

This is my favorite ballet show I have tried! My dance store in town only carries two types of canvas ballet shoes, Capezio and Sansha, neither of which look too good on my foot or hold up for long. I saw that one of the elites at my studio had this shoe and decided it would be worth a shot! And it absoloutly was! It was worth every penny, it is durable, and great for turning, and fit very well. Some of the other reviews complain about bunching in the lower heel area, and although I noticed the same thing, it doesn't bother me at all, as I believe most ballet shoes do this anyway! They are wonderful for the cost, and I will for sure be buying this shoe again when I need new ones... which may take some time, there is no visable damage to the shoe after about a month of use other than the expected dirt :) Love, love, LOVE this shoe!

    GREAT FIT!

I used to think my RP slippers were great until I tried these slippers. The sole and cushion padding inside the slipper helped solve my bone bruise problem and it made turning much easier. The shoe really hugs to my arch. Also, I really like the fact that in comes in width A because I have a super narrow foot. The colour also blended with all my tights perfectly too!!

BEST SHOE SO FAR, IF ONLY IT LASTED LONG

This style of show has been my favorite out of the 7 different brands i"ve tried so far. The material is comfortable and the larger sole had helped me turn better. The only thing I have to complain about it is that I have gotten a hole in it after 5 months, but that might be because I dance on wood floors. Either way I will still buy the product.

I love these ballet shoes! The extra padding in the ball of the foot is amazing. It's helped my balance and my turns! The sizing was perfect and the delivery was quick! The only thing remotely bad that I have to say about it is about the heel. There's seems to be a tad too much fabric on the heel; it bunches. But other than that it's the most comfortable ballet shoe I've ever used ^.^

    GREAT SHOE!

If you haven't tried these yet, please do. I really love these slippers. They fit like a glove. I love the Zig-Zag weave. It makes the shoe appear sturdier. I have used Sansha, Bloch, Capezio, Grishko, Russian Pointe, etc. but these are my new favorites.

I want to order these shoes; I am size 8 E street. Can someone advise between size 5,5.5,or 6?

Suggested fitting from the manufacter is 2-3 sizes down from your street shoe, you may want to start with the 5.5 or you can order multiple sizes and send back the ones that do not fit, we do have a 30 day return policy as long as items are in resalable condition. Sizing is a suggestion not a guarentee, each 1/2 size is approximately 1/4' difference
    - DDS Customer Service (10/03/2012)

When I asked a similar question about the sizing for my daughter(she's a 5-5.5 street, very narrow), I was told by DDS to order the different sizes and return the ones that did not fit. My daughter wears this shoe in a 2.5A. (we also ordered a 2A which was too small) Good luck! - Dancerinthedesert (11/05/2013)

Hi, I would personally go with the 6, assuming the size 8 is your bigger foot! I wear two sizes below my street shoe size and have been wearing this shoe for coming up on four years! - Taylorthebunhead (08/15/2014)
