The "Exo" modern shoe showcases the MDM design philosophy by providing never before seen support features for the performing artist. The patent applied design is constructed from a seamless medical grade compression material that reduces muscle tear from vibration and limits soft tissue damage. The compression also encourages blood flow from the foot to the heart, which in turn improves oxygenation and gives the dancer more energy in the feet and legs. Muscle recovery is facilitated by reducing the accumulation of toxins in the blood stream, and the gentle massaging properties will reduce the feeling of tired and achy legs. Half sole is ideal for modern and contemporary lyrical dance.

Features:

  • Compression Technology
  • Fast recovery
  • Reduced tissue damage
  • Increased energy
  • Reduced toxins
  • Full foot coverage for reduced friction burn
  • Digital topography contoured outsole
  • Seamless
  • Therapeutic
  • Breathable and luxurious
  • Pinky Toe protection

    DAUGTHER LOVES THEM

I lost a pair a few weeks again and my daughter was so upset. Ordered another pair right away. She says it makes her turn so much better.

    MY FEET FEEL GREAT!

I belly dance and bare feet are hard for me because I have sensitive skin, so flat footed turns are incredibly painful. I've tried jazz shoes and the classic modern sandal, but my feet would still hurt after class and practices, and neither of those look very good in performance. Then I got these shoes. My feet don't hurt at all after class, they're beautiful and perfect for performances, they're not too slick or sticky, and I don't even notice I'm wearing them half the time. There is a little bit of an adjustment to dancing with something between your toes, especially as I have very short toes, but it's not a painful adjustment. I cannot more highly recommend these shoes.

    EXTENDS MY DANCE TIME!

I wear these with my pointe shoes and it has taken away the fatigue, aches and strains that come with dancing on pointe. It really seems to have extended my ability to dance. Love the support - would highly recommend them.

    GET THESE SHOES!

These shoes are really well made. Soooo comfortable, and I wear them after class when it isn't a modern class just for the compression (as suggested on their website) makes a huge difference on tired feet right away. Look beautiful, no rug burn on the tops of my feet, AND the pinky toe is dsafe. The fabric is super soft without all the awful seems that toe undies and dance paws have. GET THESE SHOES it is worth the few dollars extra. (came in a nice carrying case) I will be trying out their leather ballet flats next. New favorite! PS 4 out of 5 on durability only because I over stretched the top whole thinking that I would need to and snapped a stich (easily sewed it up on the spot) they look good as new, really that is my flaunt not theirs.

    LIKE DANCING BAREFOOT

I am so happy to have found these shoes. As someone who prefers to do contemporary classes in bare feet I was reluctant to try the shoes but after working in them for a couple of weeks I have been totally won over. Firstly, they are light and you hardly know you are wearing them. Secondly, I used to have a constant scab on my insteps caused by contact with the tarkett during floor work. These sores have completely healed being that they are protected by the shoe. Lastly and most importantly the compress fabric seems to lift my arches giving me a better line than barefoot. Very happy I can order my next pair online.

    the MDM EXO compression foot

Does this product have a heel pad? In one photo it does, but in the other photo the heel is bare. Please let me know Thank you

The picture shows no pad on the heel, the heel and toes are completely bare. The pad is located right underneath the toes, or the ball of the foot.
