Womens Princess Seam Cotton Leotard

Fits true to size and is fine for class. The design is flattering but the leo/lining offers little to no coverage/support. Also, the straps constantly roll on themselves and there's no way to fix it. Annoying but I've gotten used to it.

Perfect for matching sets. Very versatile and comfy. Only complaint is that sometimes the armpits gap kinda funny.

I have one of these leotards in black and one in white for my dress code and I ADORE them! They fit so well and I love how the seams look. The white one is double lined which I am so thankful for and would totally recommend this leotard, especially with summer intensives coming up. I am 5"5 and around 110 lbs and the small fit me great!

I bought this for a production and it's very comfortable. I'm all torso, but this one doesn't ride up much at all. I was worried it might be too big in the top, but it's not. So far, so good. (I even purchased a second one so I only have to wash them every other day.) It's a white leotard and the lining on the front it quite good. (I just wish the whole leotard was lined.)

I have this leo in many colors all of which are durable comfortable and true to size. I usually don't have time to hand wash my leotards and these haven't shrunk yet. I am extremely happy with this product!!

I ordered this after receiving one from another company that was completely see through. The white cotton is VERY nicely lined, not see thru! If you're wavering between sizes, go up. DD is sometimes a Small Adult but I had a hunch and ordered medium and she needed it. For reference she's 5'7" and wears a 2 in street clothes:)

This runs very large in the chest; unless you have a wider rib cage, the fabric under the arms will gape unnecessarily. As with most of the Mirella leotards, this one will also stretch out with use. After a week at intensive last summer, I ripped top of the center seam and had to sew it up again. Overall it just felt very big. I wear a medium in the plain-front mirella cami leotard, but a medium in this one was huge. Order a size down. Also beware the lining- it is very thin, and wrinkles/stretches more than the leotard itself. I reccomend using a hairtie to tie back the straps in a racerback for more coverage.

I ordered the garnet color in a size medium (as recommended by the fitting guide), and although the leotard was comfortable I'm afraid I have to send it back. The leo was too large in the chest and puckered at my armpits. For reference I'm a small B cup. Even though this was red, and not a pastel, I still felt like you could see undergarment patterns under the leotard. Sending this one back.

This leotard is a must have! it is a perfect basic for any class! it is so soft and the durability of it is amazing! this is a great use of your money and its flattering on almost anybody! I really suggest this overall its amazing and I highly suggest it

Love this Leo! I was a little hesitant about ordering a cotton Leo since I tend to get pretty sweaty in class, but this one is so comfortable I don't think I could go back to the spandex kind again. The princess seams make me look skinny!

This is one of my favorite leos because it is so elegant and comfortable, but I got this in lilac and was extremely disappointed because the color actually changed to pink during class!! Also, even though it was about 82ºF in the studio, it started showing sweat by around rond de jambes. By the time it was centre, there were two huge, dark sweat splotches in the front and back. Just a few minutes later, the two splotches started turning pink... Absolutely horrible. I called DDS and reported it; she said it was probably a defect. Anyways, if you sweat a lot like me, don't get a light color which would probably show the sweat more. The only reason it got 2 stars instead of 1 is because it' so flattering and comfy. Very supportive and barely rides up. If it didn't have this sweat stain and color problem, it would be 5 stars.

I have this leo in navy blue as my company leotard and I love it. The cut is very flattering and not too low. The princess seams are a nice touch. Mine is a size small, which is good for length, but fits a little bit big under the arms; which seems to be a problem for many girls in our company. I don't usually like cotton leos, but this one is soft and has nice lines. Even the bigger dancers say that they like it and that it's supportive. This leo has lasted well through long rehearsals. I highly recommend this leo!

This leotard is beautiful. I like the quality and the stretchiness of the straps. It doesn't have the plastic strap adjustment like some leotards, but this leotard doesn't need it! One thing I don't like about it though is that I just wish I had ordered a small. I have a medium but my measurements fit in the small size according to the size chart. I took the advice of past reviewers to order a medium, but it fits a little bit loose and it is long and wide. It isn't so bad...other people who see me wear it would not be able to tell the difference, but I feel it. It is looser than all the leotards I own, but of course, that's because I ordered one size too big! So if you're thinking of getting this leotard, order your size according to the size chart! It's the intuitive thing to do.

Don't let $18+ price tag fool you... This Mirella "Aspire" leotard in cotton lycra is well-made, moves with you, and has a stylish cut which makes you feel beautiful regardless. After two years of wear, my two black leos of this style still look almost brand new. Color never fades (I hand wash them), no holes, no loose thread. There are so many fancy leos out there nowadays with various types of new fabric (many in Polyester which I don't like...) and intricate designs, but I always come back to this Mirella leotard in cotton lycra because I love its simple elegance with functional beauty. To me, it is important to wear leotard in cotton which lets your body breathe! FYI, I am 5'2", 105lbs and wear M size because my girth is almost 56 inches. I could also fit in S size but M was better for giving me more room for movements and the overall cut fit to my body much better. So, I recommend those who fall in-between sizes go with their girth.

I ordered this leotard in white, and it was incredibly see-through, as most white leotards are. Anyways, for me, since I'm a little more busty than most girls at my studio, I found that this leotard gave me some support. Enough to be able to dance in it, but not quite enough for comfort. I would recommend this to smaller chested girls, and for more busty girls I would recommend one with adjustable straps.

The leotard stays true to it's size. I'm 5ft 3inches and 105 pounds and bought a small which fit perfectly. Sometimes though, the straps are annoying but it's okay :) It's cotton though so it fades :(

I have been wearing this style for years I love it, as I do most all Mirella leotards. The traditional styles fit me better than that of any other make this is a favorite!!! I have several love the beautiful lines. The Copen color one that I have is so pretty (they changed the color's name). The material is comfortable I am still wearing mine from 8 years ago it is durable. I love the materials, as they breathe are comfortable. Ballet cut leg lines are perfect. No problems with port de bras to the back (it stays put)! I have a slightly longer torso it fits me in length, as well as the other women who are more standard. At this great price, I highly suggest you try it!!! :)

this leotard is so nice and comfy! it's also really flattering. it runs on the small side so make sure you order a size up. i'm 5'5" 118lbs and a medium fits really well.

I have been a Mirella fan for my dancers for years and the last two of this style leotard have fit horribly after having been a staple for us. I heard that Bloch bought Mirella. So Mirella has now changed the cut of the leotard. Beware, it fits much bigger, and the bust area/ top is huge compared to before. I am now shopping for a new "go to" brand. I hope Mirella brings their old cut back.

I just got this and I love it. The material is soft and not too thick, and the cut is so flattering. The front v and back v hit at just the right spots to make you look slimmer. My only qualm is the leotard is a little tight, especially in the strap area. I'm 5'4", 115 lbs, 34B/C and I got Medium. I agree with previous reviewers who said the straps seem a little too short. I will try it on again later, and maybe even cut the bottom and add some length there. If it was 3/4 inch longer, I think it would be perfect.

I've been buying this leo for years, it's the best I've ever owned. Fits everyone perfectly, extremely flattering. Who would have thought that a simple cami leo like this would get so many compliments?

I am really picky about leotards in the leg line and neck and overall fitting, but this one fit perfectly. I absolutely love this leo and it lasted a decent while before starting to fall apart. Straps dug in a little, but it didn't bother me that much. I'm very petite and flat chested, so the sizing chart was true to product for me. I loved it but now I'm trying the one with the pinch in the front. Great buy, worth your money!

The lycra in this style isn't bad, I still don't love the cut compared to others like the Natalie one, but the cotton is quite rough and it doesn't mold to your body. Luckily I tried this on in a store and didn't buy it. Maybe it improves after you wash it? I always wear a medium, but the medium gaped in the back yet the large was super baggy. I think it might be better for girls with more boy or apple shapes, but if you have a curvier figure (small or large) I don't think this will suit you. If you like the cut go for the lycra one. *Also I'm not sure if it is ideal for tall girls. I'm 5'4" and the medium pulled on me.

I wanted to replace my old black Danskin cami, and thought cotton would be really comfortable. I was right -- it is! It has very nice support, the front liner helps. The princess seams are pretty, flattering, and comfortable. I am 5'6", and weigh somewhere around 120 lbs. I think I have a short torso because I have a 38" inseam. I got the medium anyway, and it fits very well. If the straps were about an inch longer, they wouldn't dig in as much, but I can deal with it. That, and the bulky V-seam in the back, are the only reasons it doesn't get five stars. The V-seam, (not shown in the description here) is bulky and sort of uncomfortable. But again, it's something I can work around, because the cotton is so comfortable in every other way!

I love this leotard! I have it in royal blue, which is a gorgeous color. I am five one and a half, and around 115 pounds. The medium fits really well. The cotton is really comfy, and I love the princess seams. They are very flattering.

I am a 12 year-old dancer who dances around 5 hours a week. When I looked at the leotard, I thought the lining wouldn't be enough. But when I tried it on with a sports bra I looked flat. Everything was great. Except for one thing. I tried it on with my new Natalie Jazz Pants, but my thighs were hanging out more than all of my other leotards. When I read the reviews for this, before I bought it, everyone said the bottom part was too big, BUT IT WAS THE OPPOSITE FOR ME! Other than that I love it, but if I bought it in a bigger size, everything else would be too big, so tomorrow we are going to the store.... Crossing my fingers they have it!!!

This is my favorite leotard. I own both the cotton blend and lycra versions (for warmer and cooler weather) and both fit wonderfully. The lycra does flatter a larger bust better (I am a C/D cup), but both are lovely. Great for long torsos (I am 5'8"), very comfortable. I highly recommend this leotard.

This leo fits beautifully and it lasts. I just replaced my black one that I just about wore every week for 5 years. I machine wash it and hang it up to dry. I'm 5'6" and about 130 lbs and a medium is perfect. The seams are flattering and the colors are great. I have two in black, one garnet, and one in periwinkle. I love them! Cotton is the best. My garnet one is the Lycra fabric and it's a little slinky and slides down. The cotton stays put!

Horrible leo. It was a waste of money. The seam goes directly down the center of the body and is very low in the bust. You have to order a size bigger than what you actually are. Would not recommend it.

I got this leo in burgundy and I loved it! I'm 5'7 and the medium fit perfectly. Unfortunately, the material stained pretty badly, but I don't know what from... Like there are these random orange blotches all over it :( It was very comfortable and I think I'm going to order it again, but in black.

I love this leotard! It's very comfortable, and easy to move in. While the torso did seem a little bit short (I have a medium to long torso) I still think it is a great fit, and definitely a great basic item. I highly recommend it!

After 7 years of continuous wearing, the straps finally broke :( It's the most flattering leotard of the 40 or 50 that I have so I always ended up wearing it. Amazing! Order this!

This is one of the best leotards I have bought yet! The burgundy color is gorgeous. I wore it to an audition and I'd have to say it was the prettiest leotard there. I'm buying more in black and light blue. It does come a little small though. I am usually a small, but I took advice from other people and brought a medium instead, which fits perfectly. I am about 120 pounds, 5'5" and between an A or B cup.

I own this leotard in royal, and it's a very pretty color, though more periwinkle than the color swatch shows. My friend actually owned the leo for about two years before I inherited it. I've worn it for almost one year now and love it. It breathes really well, and is very durable and soft. The straps are a great length. Only concern: princess seams make my hips look wider than they are. Maybe it's just the color...

Like others have already said, I would definitely order a size up. When I got this, it dug in A LOT at the shoulders, and after an evening of classes, I was actually in pain from wearing this. I've had it for a few weeks now, and it does stretch quite a bit. It is a very flattering and classic leotard! The back is just perfect-it is low enough to show your back nicely, but not so low as to make you self-concious. I will definitely order more of this leotard.

I think this leo deserves about 3.5 stars. I got it in navy, and although the material is flattering on a curvier shape, the fit is terrible! I always order a medium in leotards, as I have an average build, small chest and average length torso. However, I was constantly pulling this one up (don't even ask about doing cambres) because the torso was much too short! I feel uncomfortable wearing it.

I have it in light blue in cotton. It washed out big time. I agree with Melissa from California, cotton does wash out but Lycra doesn't. I have a few friends that have it in black lycra - it doesn't wash out. I LOVE this leo. I give it FIVE stars!

I got this leotard in my normal size, a small, and the torso was way too short on me (I have a long torso). I suggest getting a size up.

I've had this leo for two years now. It is soooo flattering, it never slips, and it's super comfy. Plus, since I'm still growing, it has stretched along with me so that I don't have to keep buying new ones. Plus, the colors are really nice! I have this leo in burgundy and a dark green (I don't know if Mirella still carries that color). Anyway, I definitely suggest buying this leotard!

This is my first leo purchase after a 15+ year break in dancing, and I read product reviews on this item very carefully prior to purchase. I simply love it so much--it is very high in quality and gives great support all around. One thing to note is that it's better to order one size up if you have a long torso like me. I will definitely want to buy another one in different color in the near future.

I love this leotard, if I had the money to buy lots of leotards I would definitely have this one! A lot of the girls in my class have it. It's really flattering, I love the princess seams. I have the other Mirella, with the scoop neck and V-back. I totally recommend it!

I love this leotard!!! and I have it in three colors. The princess seams and V neckline are very flattering. I need a red leotard for a dance and was wondering if this type of red (garnet) is red red or a darker red because I was noticing that all Mirella leotards come in garnet and not in red.

I am in need of a white strapless leotard to make a costume but have been having trouble finding one. If I bought a camisole one, do you think it would stay up if I removed the straps?

I do not think this leotard would be able to stay up if the straps were removed. We do offer leotards with clear straps, but nothing in white. The lightest color we offer is nude. You may be able to purchase our clear straps separately and sew them onto this leotard to get the effect you are looking for. The style number for the clear straps we sell is N8159.
