Thought I’d give these boy shorts a try. So disappointed. Thin cotton, the threads in the waist band snapped the 1st time I tried them on. Better off to buy the $3.99 fold over shorts from forever 21.

This is my daughter's favorite pair of dance shorts. However, they run very small. She normally wears an extra small or small in shorts, but we must order a medium in these. She says they are very comfortable. They fit both her small waist and muscular thighs without gapping.

these shorts are super great for classes, so far very durable because I haven't worn them much but they are very nice. the v-waist shape os very flattering on me (because my hips dip in a little) and the color is very opaque and doesn't seem like it will fade (I got black). they do ride up a little, which is annoying but always expected with shorts like this. besides that, super useful and worth the price. i got a medium, sometimes I'm a small sometimes small-medium but I got a medium and they fit very nicely so i recommend sizing up.

I like these shorts and they do add a little color with out drawing too much attention. my only compliant is that they are a little shorter than I would like while also somehow managing to be kinda baggy. i still like them enough to wear to class but i wouldn't wear them without tights.

My daughter is very tall and lean, so it might just be a better fit for someone with more "thigh," but without enough spandex, these had gaps at the hem that made her feel too exposed. The price is very good, and they looked nice, but they had a more "cotton" feel and didn't move with her well.

Good shorts for the price, but fit is a little odd. The shorts gap at the leg. I was scared to buy them at first because they look very short in the pictures however, the adult sizes are not as short as I thought they would be.

I cannot rate the durability or comfort as I had to return them. I ordered a medium for my daughter to replace the small we had purchased a year or so ago. These were just as small if not smaller and will be returned. They looked great the color was great, just too small

I have couple pairs of these shorts in black for years now and love them. I wanted them in white. Shipping was fast but I was disappointed with the quality because the back side is see-through. The front side has double layer of fabric. I don't know whey they didn't make it the same way on the back side. I have to return them.

I bought this for my daughter who needed dance shorts for dance classes. We were worried that they would be too short but they are just right for her needs. They do gap slightly in the inner thigh but we are hoping that after a couple of washings that they will fit better. I would definitely buy these again. The only reason that I am not giving more stars on durability is that these are new and we haven't had a chance to see how they will wear. I will go in and update later.

These are perfect for pole dance! They stay nice and snug but they don't cut in or ride up a lot like some dance shorts do. They stay pretty opaque and hold up well in the wash. Definitely a good buy

I bought these shorts and the fit is strange. It fit weird on the thighs mostly. I have average thighs (for a dancer) and it's really big there and the length is VERY short. Plus, these are cotton, so they shrink (not a problem for me though). I would suggest the Capezio shorts instead, which aren't cotton and work well for my dance friends.

These shorts are great, they fit nicely and true to size. They stay in place during class, only thing is the inseam is really short which is fine with me, I just didn't realize how short they would be when I bought them.

These are definitely my new favorite booty shorts. They feet very comfortably with no real pinching. I use these for aerial practice and under dresses for swing dancing. Appropriate for both.

i'm like 60 kgs, 165cm. usually i order medium for my leotard. so i bought medium. it fits a bit loose. but comfortable to wear.

Great shorts for class. Snug fitting and perfect length, low waist and not baggy at the leg.
I'm 5'7" 135 lbs and got a Medium. They fit snug but will loosen up.

First off, they are 100% cotton so make sure you size up ( I bought a medium)! They are very comfortable and flattering, though around the bum they have a slight flare rather than form to your shape. Thinner than I expected, but opaque so far. :)

I have these shorts in turquoise and I like them a lot. I must say that they are rather thin though and if I am wearing dark underwear (dark purple-black) they are noticeable. Panty lines happen with them, too. These are very good to wear over a leotard, however, and if you wear tights underneath (without a leotard) you can wear them to other classes (hip hop, jazz, tap, etc.) without a problem. They are extremely comfortable and are good for sleeping in, too. I find them to be true to size. I will be ordering another pair.

This one is going back. Material looks cheap. Way too wide in the legs (these are not your tight booty shorts). Bought size adult S for my 10 year old. The fit was very strange overall. Too bad, for they are priced well.

My girls loooooooove these shorts. I had my team cut the tag out the back and wear dark undies, they looked very good under stadium lights and nothing was showing underneath. If you're looking for a durable, affordable and stylish white short, stop looking! My team swear by these shorts.

I bought these to replace my long-loved and well-worn Dance Dept. shorts which were fairly similar.
These run a little large, so if you're between sizes on the chart, order the smaller size. I wear a size 6 or 8 in women's in pants and a 9 in juniors. I ordered the medium, but I wonder if a small would have been better.
They are super comfy and stay put over a leotard and tights. I haven't tried them with bare legs, but they might work for that.

These are nice cotton dance shorts and exactly what I was looking for because I do not like the shiny nylon shorts. I wanted shorts to go over a leotard and the v-waist has a slimming effect. The leg holes are not super tight, so if you are looking to use these without something underneath, they might ride up on you.

I love these shorts- I wear them during pole dancing. I'm 5'7", 160ish, with a meatier backside- these make my butt look great. I ordered a small because I was worried about thigh gapage- nobody wants to see my underwear during an inversion! These fit perfectly- not too loose, not too tight. They are thick enough that you can't see through them, and they don't ride up/slip down. They are short enough that my legs can make contact with the pole in all the right places. I plan on purchasing several more pairs!

I got these shorts for an audition to wear with a halter/bra top, and the shorts were so loose I was just hoping to make it through the audition without my shorts moving around. They are OK to wear over a leotard, but the elastic is not tight enough to wear alone. I wouldn't buy them again...And I didn't know that they were cotton. unsatisfied

I ordered these shorts to go over my leotard and tights just for regular dance class and rehersals. I didn't know that they were cotton which was fine except they fit terribly. I am 5 ft tall and i got a size small. The waist fits good but they are so loose around the legs and they make my butt look like a pancake. Although they are comfortable material i would never recommend these shorts to anyone.

I teach musical theatre dance at a university and I ordered these shorts to wear in my class. I am 5'3" and 115-120 lbs. I have a small frame, but I am curvy for a dancer. These shorts are very cute, but I feel are inappropriate to teach a class in. The bottoms of my butt cheeks show and the cotton fabric (while comfortable) gaps a little at the crotch. I would just suggest thinking about what you plan to use them for (I think the boys in my class would have a hard time concentrating if I wore them to teach in!)

These are my favourite shorts for modern/jazz. The v-waist is extremely flattering and looks great over a leotard. The legs are the perfect length, and don't ride up a great amount. Everything fits true to size!

I like that these shorts are mostly cotton and don't feel too slick. They seem to give good coverage of the important areas, so that you don't accidentally flash someone. From the sizing chart, I thought these would run small, but they are true to size. I think I'll be getting some more. As was previously noted, they are a good deal for the money!
