I'm starting at a new studio and they have hardwood floors. I'm just wondering how they are for dancing on hardwood, I read above that the sole's are leather.

They are leather but have a plastic/rubber pad for the ball of the foot. My daughter said these are awesome for practicing turns and pirouettes. They allow her foot to turn without grabbing the floor like her performance athletic shoes. :o) - Emmesdancemom (09/24/2013)
