MIXED FEELINGS
I ordered the Aqua/Teal and it looks decently similar to the photo. I know it's hand painted and they won't ever be able to make two the same way. It is very pretty. Because it is hand painted, it fits a little more snug which I completely forgot about how that happens to costumes that are hand painted. It fits a little too snug around my collar/throat, but other than that it fits fine everywhere else. I say that because even though it is a bit snug, I know after a couple of handwashings and letting it hang to dry, it will relax and "soften" up a bit. The shelf bra is nice. The ombre is perfect, though it does mean the lower half is a touch see through. With the color option I bought, it mainly just shows lines (unless you wear really bright undergarments when trying it on). I'm not too worried about it showing lines, as I'll be moving and as a whole it really isn't that noticeable. Is it perfect? No. Does it match what I would want to use it for and I can make it work? Yup. I'm not absolutely in love with it, but I'm a texture person (I'm very picky about hand painted items because they feel completely different after being painted) and I don't like tight things around my neck/chest. I do know I'll be able to get it to relax by working with it a few times before ever wearing it to perform. I'm hoping the texture will also sort itself out when I work with it. When I'm doubt, I'll just wear full body tights with this outfit if the lines truly do bother me. I'm looking forward to using this costume, even with my mixed feelings about it because it does look wonderful and I can't wait to use it after washing it a few times to make sure it won't stain anything it touches.

GREAT COVERAGE
Great coverage for aerial, acrobatic work. Runs tight in the neck and shoulder area as other reviews mentioned. I had to size up for that reason. Teal and green color was not at all see-through. It does have a shelf bra.
Hand-painted, the color does come off on things when the leotard is new. It stained my clothing and a set of white aerial silks. It all washed out, but be aware.
