Wonderful quality practice skirt. Using it for our Spanish Skirts for Nutcracker. Love the drawstring waistband!

I received the skirt and it looks great and is as described. It is also heavy as should be, reflecting the amount of material used. It is the same as another Bal Togs I bought 15 yrs ago elsewhere. The waist seemed a little snug for a large, but expect it will stretch a little since it has elastic and a draw string. the draw string was a little short & not same as other skirt, rather like a gym shoe cord, thick when you tie it, as you make a knot, but shouldn't be a big deal. Not sure yet about Durability, since just got it, but should be good, as it looks just like one I've had 15 years!

I am 5' 6" and about 155 lbs. I usually take a large but I ordered an XL because I can always make it smaller or tighter around the waist. It is a little tight.. It is a lot of fun to dance in though and it is very will made! Very nice skirt, it just runs a little small.

My daughter is almost 5 foot tall and is usually a size adult XS. Although the child size would have been a better length we were forced to purchase the adult small because of her hip measurement. Very happy there is a drawstring in the waistband and we cut off the bottom ruffle to make it ankle length. It was comfortable in her first class and she didn't have any issues with static. Overall, we're happy. Only gave it 4 stars for durability because we won't know about that until it gets washed a few times.

This skirt is very pretty. Perfect for classes. It's beautiful when you turn with it on. I got it in black and I love it!

These skirt are very pretty especially when you turn. The ruffles at the bottom are gorgeous and the seams down the front are very flattering. This is a flamenco skirt but it works great for any character dance and looks great on stage. The material is a bit thin and the red is slightly see though, but overall this skirt is very pretty. The size medium fits many different sizes, and waits are adjustable. They are rather long though so they won't work on a very short person or a child.

Exactly what I expected; a good practice skirt in an easy to care for fabric. All the gores give it a very smooth fit. Good drape. Waist band with drawstring well made. Looks like a pair of athletic shorts on the inside which I like! Should not 'roll' or bunch up. Minor problem with one seam coming undone. No time to return it, so I had it repaired myself. It should be a stuff-it-in-my-bag and go sort of rehearsal skirt. I would definitely buy another one.

This was a really pretty skirt with a beautiful ruffle at the bottom but unfortunately I won't be able to wear it. It's so thin that you can see the drawstring through it. If you hold it up to the light you can see through the front and back layer of it. It also runs really small. I'm 5'9 and 134 pounds and ordered the large. It was really tight on me. Usually I wear medium bottoms, sometimes large. I'm very disappointed because it's a pretty skirt and I wanted to wear it.

This is form fitting, which I am not used to. It was purchased for a belly dance routine. It moves beautifully when dancing. I have not washed it as of yet, but it seems as there should be no issues when I do. Very nice skirt.

I ordered the XL (14-16) and wasn't sure about it since I wear an 18. It had enough stretch and fits well- snug at the waist, but comfortable. I love the cut. It fits closely at the waist and hips and then flares out to a very full hemline. I can't wait to wear it in our show in the fall. The fabric is a tricot (like slip fabric) which allows it to have nice drape and not be too heavy. I priced fabric to make my own, and this was cheaper and already made. I haven't worn it other than trying it on, but I expect it to wear well. It was plenty long on me and I am 5'7". It might be too long if you are shorter.

I ordered it for my Saturday performance and I absolutely love it. fast shipping, great customer service. The skirt fits very well. I am a very small frame woman at 5'4'' and 95 lbs and size S fits me perfect. Based on that I'd say it runs a bit small. Also if you are tall it might be short for you as for my average height this skirt was perfect length. I was surprised how ell this fit me as most of the time I have to order XS of everything.

As a relatively new Flamenco dancer, I was looking for something simple and comfortable. This skirt is comfortable, easy to dance in, and, it is hard to tell from the picture, but it is also very professional looking. In my last performance I even opted to use this skirt instead of a more ornate and expensive one because it looked so much more professional. However, if you are very tall (5'9- ) you may want to look for something longer.

This skirt runs a bit small, just to be clear. But otherwise- it's a GREAT skirt! Rolls up and doesn't wrinkle, totally durable, and moves really well in flamenco class. Really great skirt for the price, and perfect for practicing in.

I choreographed and danced in a Viennese Waltz to the Pirates of the Carribean for the MIT Ballroom Team. The girls wore these skirts with wide corset like belts and flowing poet shirts. We used both the red and black. Great looking on stage and very comfortable. Gorgeous on spins. I also used a black one paired with a lacey one sleeved top (also from Discount Dance) for a tango piece I danced in at a later date. Again, very attractive with great movement and drama. The beauty of these skirts is that we will get plenty of use out of them even when the showcases are over....they work well as practice skirts when paired with a plain leotard. Great value for the price!

This skirt looks phenomenal on stage! We bought five for a formation, and they looked fantastic on Everyone! Also, they're stretchy, so they fit everyone really well. Also, because of the ruffles, they move really well for ballroom dances.
