Athletic, fuss-free tank leotard, ideal for ballet class or adult ballet workouts. True to size and fairly comfortable. High neckline is elegant and flattering. However, wore out pretty significantly after just six months. May want to hand-wash for longevity. Also, the white is pretty see-through, so if you sweat a lot, may not be the best shade.

Julia02/15/2024 San Diego,CAMATERIAL IS TOO TIGHT
I bought this in an XL and it felt like a small when I tried it on. I wish the material wasn't cotton. If it was a different material it would have fit way better. Definitely going to be buying a different brand.

babs05/03/2018 Menlo Park,CAGREAT BASIC, ESPECIALLY FOR TALL OR LONG TORSO
I'm tall with a long torso so I size up to a Large. Fits beautifully and it's possible to wear any kind of bra without it showing. I got the black and navy. I like the high neck for modesty. The fabric is durable and quick-drying. Probably a younger woman would find it boring, but I think it's a great class basic.

This leotard is my absolute favorite. I would size a small (5'4") but the medium fits really nicely and is pretty comfortable. I like where the neckline sits too. I have this leotard in black, burgundy, and navy, and I love all three!!

Bought this for my teenage dancer. She would measure a small but we buy mediums. Love the modesty of this leo. Very comfortable. Dropped the durability rating because I am skeptical of the material of retaining its color. We bought 2 one black and burgandy.

This leotard is comfortable and would probably look good on just about anyone. It's basic (looks exactly like it does in the picture), but doesn't look old fashioned or overly modest. I've found that it looks fine with a sports bra worn underneath it, even if the straps show a little. For the price, this is a great buy! I usually wear a medium, and that was true for this leotard as well.

cmlhale04/01/2016RUNS SMALL
While I ordered the correct size based on my daughter's measurements, it still ran small. She is 5'3" (and growing) and about 105 lbs. She wears a size 3 in juniors or even still 16 in girls. I ordered the adult S but will be exchanging for an adult M.
I love the thickness of the material and the shelf bra. Those, along with the high neckline for modesty, make this a great choice.

First of all, I received the order within a very reasonable time. The leotard fits very nicely and is comfortable. Great service and the leotard is exactly as pictured; and lastly, just what I need for class. Thanks DDS!

My daughter has been wearing the Capezio Adult Economy Tank Size Medium and it fits real well and hasn't appeared to shrink. However, I avoid drying it. I ordered this leotard also in Medium and it is very tight through the middle. She needs navy blue for her class so I'm going to give Large a try and hope it works. My daughter is 11 and very tall and a little stocky but definitely not overweight by any means.

Bellarina05/26/2015AFFORDABLE AND CLASSIC LEOTARD
I have this in black and hunter, both size small. I'm 5'3 and 102lbs. This is a very basic, but overall flattering leotard. I have ones I'd rather wear, but this was cheap and good quality. The back is just too high and it makes my back look long, even though I have a short torso. I don't have very big boobs (30A), but my friend with a larger chest always complains that she's spilling out the sides when she wears this. Overall, I'd say if you're looking for an affordable leotard that gets the job done, get this one. However, if you're looking for an amazingly pretty leotard, keep looking.
I have had this leotard in navy for about 5 months and I love it so much. It is very comfortable. The only problem is that you can see through it in certain areas, other than that it is one of the better leotards that I have ordered before. The reason for my rating for durability is because I haven't had it long enough to test its durability

AllisonR02/21/2015COMFORTABLE. DECENT FIT
I ordered this leotard in black (my studio doesn't allow other colors) and it's great! I'm around 5'6" and 125 pounds and got a large (my old leotard was a medium (not Capezio) and was very tight, so I decided to size up) and it fits well. The only issue I have with the fit is that the butt/thigh area is a bit baggy. I don't have much of a butt, so that's not really the company's fault. I don't see it as being much of an issue though because I always have either dance shorts or a skirt over my leotard. Just be warned that if you're like me you might have some space in the back.

lesmi01/13/2015COMFY/SUPPORTIVE, WHITE SEE-THROUGH
First, before you buy the white know that it is slightly see-through in the chest area even though it has a full front liner. The back is not lined and you can see my tattoo through the fabric. I don't own any other colors but white, so I can't vouch for others being see-through.
I am 5'7, 34D, and 130 lbs. I vary from medium to large leo sizes because of my breasts, but usually a medium fits well. I saw it ran small, and bought a large. The large pretty much fit. Its not super tight like I usually prefer, but it isn't baggy anywhere either. A medium may have given the "quad-butt" effect, but probably would have supported my breasts better.
Since the white is somewhat see-through, I have to wear a sports bra with it, but I could probably go without one if it wasn't for the sheer fabric. I definitely would have been comfortable without one in a medium.
The neck line hides the sports bra pretty well, unless it is a racer back bra. The leg cut is very flattering... not quite as high as a ballet cut leg. The arms also are cut very comfortably... not tight around the armpit, but you won't experience any "side-boob" either.

TallBallerina07/04/2014REALLY SMALL.
This leotard has great durability, but it runs terribly small! I am 100 lbs, 5'8" and I ordered a petite. When I got it I could barely put it on. Once I had it on it felt fine, although I noticed a bit of side-boob action going on even though I barely have any. If you have any doubts about which size to get, get the larger one.

NewToDance03/09/2014WORKS FOR ME
I am 39 years old, and new to dancing. I am also 5' 4" and heavy with a 38D cup. I like this Leo because I am able to wear a sports bra and feel like I am covered well. Without the sports bra, the Leo is snug in the chest, but I feel like I need more. Other reviews have said the material is not very stretchy, but I like that. I feel it helps me find my "center". As for the side arm issue-I haven't noticed it; I thought it was just my body shape ;). Overall, I really like this Leo, but if I was younger or smaller I might not find it as flattering.

PassionflowerT02/04/2014EXCELLENT
For the price, this is my go-to practice leotard & I now own 4 of them. They wash & hang dry well & I've even thrown a couple in the dryer for a few minutes in a rush & they came out relatively unscathed. I am 5'7", 124-128 lbs, 34B with a longish torso, womanly hips and substantial shoulders/upper arms and I find the shape and modest leg cut of the black XL to be extremely comfortable and relatively flattering. It's true that this is not the leo to flatter that front-of-the-armpit area, but I like the fact that unlike a strappy leo I can mostly hide my go-to sports bras under it.

I read the review that said the cut on the arms was bad... but oh my goodness it was worse than bad. Ugly... the cut shows the side of your chest if you are larger than an A. I am returning today. It was not flattering in general as well.

DancerY01/11/2013DURABLE THO SHORT
I have two of these leos, and for the most part, I'm happy with them. They're very durable--I wash them in the machine and line dry, and that's fine. I do get some side-boob going on, but I am pretty busty. My only complaint is that they are too short for me. I'm 5'6" and 115-120, so you'd think a medium would fit, but I must have a long torso. If I need another, I'll try a large. There is nothing less attractive than yanking down the front of your leo in the middle of class.

Kalybo0107/14/2012GREAT, BASIC LEOTARD THAT IS COMFORTABLE
I just received this leotard, and so far, I love it! I am busty and have a booty/hips and muscular legs. I am 5'2", 143 lb and a 36D. The large fit perfectly, but as previously mentioned, it does seem to run a bit long, which actually worked out well for me, as I have a lot to fill those spots in :-D I highly recommend giving it a try.

LauraP04/09/2012MY FAVORITE LEOTARD
I own four of these leotards, in black, burgundy, garnet, and royal. They are comfortable, durable, supportive, and an excellent value. I am 5'-9", 132 lbs., and size Large fits me perfectly. Note that the garnet leotard must be washed separately, because the color bleeds.

This is the worst leotard I have ever purchased. It is going back immediately. I purchased an XL. The sizing chart made me think that some areas would be too large and others just right. Well the top and waist were so tight I couldn't breath. There is no give to the fabric and it is too thick. It might be sturdy but not practical to move in for ballet. Capezio should know better

I have trouble finding a decent fitting leotard because I am tall but this one fits very well. It runs a bit long but not so much that people of average height could not wear it comfortably. I was very happy with the color (I ordered pink) because it is a bit paler and nuder that it appears and perfectly matches pink ballet shoes. However, it is entirely see through. An undergarment leotard is essential! But, with the undergarment leo it is a very nice leotard.
