I am measuring my teenage dancer for the Sansha Professional stage tutu. How do I measure her torso.
A torso measurement is half of a girth measurement. You start with a tape measurer at the top of one shoulder, take it down the front of the body, between the legs, up her backside and all the way back up to the same point on the same shoulder you started at. Its like doing a lateral circle of her torso area. Then you take that measurement and divide it by 2, as the "torso" measurement Sansha lists is actually a 1/2 torso. - DDS Customer Service (05/21/2013)
