These shoes don't look anything like the photo. They are much darker and the heels look much shorter. Make sure you really want 2.5 as the photo clearly shows 3 inch heels in a light color. I immediately returned them and lost $$ on the return fee so buyer beware.

SIZING & COLOR
Use the sizing chart and measure your foot, and the size is absolutely perfect. The two straps make me feel like my foot is way more secure in the shoe compared to some other ballroom styles too. The only thing is the color is way off. The color the shoes does NOT match the color as advertised in the images of the shoe online. The shoes came much much darker, a completely different shade - like a dark bronze. The shoe itself is very nice, but the off, dark color is just straight up disappointing.

GREAT SHOES
These are great shoes, but they do take a bit to break in (I got a blister on the first day). The soles have worn down a bit with 2 months of weekly lessons, but not more than I was expecting. I already got two more shoes from this brand - very comfy, and I like having the diversity to match each style of ballroom dance.

GREAT FOR LATIN DANCING
These shoes fit great and are comfortable mostly. My pinky toes come out between the straps while dancing, otherwise they are great. They were delivered very fast.

This is the first dance shoe that I've bought and my dance studio recommended me the Very Fines Shoe. I have been wearing it for my ballroom dance lesson and I am a beginner student. The shoe has a good grip with X-strap style straps provide a more secure fit. I've added a plastic heel protector to protect the heel and provides more traction. The only problem I encounter with this shoe is that there was several times that the upper quick release buckle came off while I was dancing. I guess maybe it was due to my skinny ankle, thus strap is a bit loose. The lower buckle fit perfectly. I am wearing a street shoe size 6.5 and I bought a size 5. So be sure to measure your shoe size correctly. In general, ballroom shoes should fit quite snugly and not allow the foot to move at all inside the shoe. The toes should come just to the end of the shoe or, in the case of open-toed shoes, actually hang slightly over the edge of the shoe.
I am also glad that it came with a shoe bag and a show freshener.

How do I secure the straps on my new ladies latin/rhythm strappy high heels.
