Knee/Elbow Pads

Are they sold by two knee pads and two elbow pads? ( does it mean 4 items total in one order?) Do I need two measurements, one for elbows and one for knees?

They are sold in pairs. A pair you can use for either your knees or your elbows depending on your need and size.

The package contains two pads. I tried the mediums I didn't use on my arms just for fun and they seemed to fit well though if I need arm pads I am probably doing something wrong!!! - Donh (07/30/2013)

XXS (8' - 10') , XS (10' - 12'), S (12' - 15'), M (15' - 18') L (18' - 21') You would measure the diameter of the knee for sizing

I chose the pads based on the fact I used knee and elbow pads when I played football in high school 40 years ago. I am 6 ft and weigh 200 lbs and a large on my knees and medium on my arms would be fine for me. I hope this helps. For what it is worth my knee measures 16 inches about the knee cap and my elbow is 12 inches. Both my leg and arm were straight when I measured them. - Donh (07/30/2013)
